Tangalooma resort is a very beautifull place, with so many activities options or only to relax on the beach. What I didn't like so much is that take so much time to make the procedures for check in (first on visitor centre, wait for bus, go to warth, check-in on cruiser 1 hour before departure...).

Doing what: 2 Day Tangalooma Resort and Dolphin Feeding Tour

We enjoyed the resort much and there were so many activities you could do at the island like canoeing, hiking, desert walk, snorkeling, diving, para-sailing and swimming. Good restaurant as well. Dolphin feeding was for sure the highlights of this tour. Spending a night on the island is recommended.

Tangalooma is beautiful with its clear sea and white sandy beach. The ride over on the ferry was great and we saw some whales and dolphins too. The activities are well arranged so you know exactly what you're doing and at what time. If you want free time on the island then this trip doesn't really allow for that. I did the dolphin feeding. Remember the dolphins are wild, so no touching and it may not be quite what you imagine. You do get close and the dolphin takes the food from your hand. If you don't want to pay for the dolphin feeding you can still get great views of them all from the jetty. The only let down for me was the sand boarding. I would rather have spent some more free time on the beach.

actually only transfer and entry to the island is provided, your only time in the island

It was nice day trip however you have to book ur accommodation if you would like to do the dolphin feeding! Also food and drink is really expensive there so you need to bring your own food!!

One of the worst trips of my life. The driver who picked us up and drove us back was a maniac and we thought we were surely going to die. The ride across to the island was chopping and uncomfortable (not your fault) but made the whole trip worse.

Not a bad day out but the resort really isn't all that special. The beach is gorgeous but choices for food are very limited. I didn't stick around for the dolphin feeding so I can't comment on that.

A wonderful day, the sand toboganning trip a fun outing though I declined the ride down the sand dunes. The dolphin feeding was incredibly moving and a never to be missed experience. I would go back tomorrow!

Dolphin feeding experience was 5-star! The included buffett lunch; was not very good at all. (makes Tangalooma look very cheap) The use of the VIP Lounge was very helpful. Overall, definitely recommended.

The dolphins were amazing - definitely turned on the highlights - only wish it was for longer. There rest of the package was disappointing i.e.the buffet lunch and the sand tabogganing. The lunch buffet was very poor quality - nothing tasty, steak was overcooked, even the fried rice was tasteless. This is a island resort - you would expect some seafood - nope - this is downright normal takeaway corner shop food in unlimited quantity & tasteless. As for the sand tabogganning - don't expect proper tabagonning board which you can sit on, this is some makeshift board which is not easy to pull up with your arms and still keep your knees up all the way down the slope and if you don't, you will experience turbulent sandstorm all around you. You basically need very strong arms and legs and - bring your goggles!!

We had a great time. It was wonderful!

It was wonderfull experiance with Dolphine and desert safari. we enjoyed throughly for both part and enjoyed food too. Arrangments are very nice. we are being well taken care by orgeniser. may you can alocate more time for desert safari. Shah Shailesh

Doing what: Tangalooma Resort Moreton Island Day Cruise with Optional Dolphin Feeding

Beautiful island, getting there on the ferry is part of the fun. Loads to do at the resort including the exciting sand tobogganing. Unfortunately when we were there it was too rough to go into the sea and feed the dolphins. They still arrived but we had to feed them from the jetty. Return ferry delayed due to bad weather and a very rough crossing back. This was apparently very unusual and only this stopped a highly recommended rating!

Doing what: 2 Day Tangalooma Resort and Dolphin Feeding Tour

The Tangalooma resort location is beautiful. The boat ride to the island was enjoyable. The dolphin feeding, although a once in a lifetime experience, was somewhat of a let down because you are only allowed a few seconds in the water with the dolphins. However, we took a whale watching cruise from the resort and that was fantastic. The food choices at the resort were quite limited and the buffet was extremely crowded. The rooms were reasonable. But overall, it was definitely worth doing.
