Awesome theme park, rides were amazing, but with the typical long waits - avoid school/public holidays if possible.

Doing what: Gold Coast Theme Park Transfer Pass from Brisbane

We enjoyed the service. The man who picked us up from the airport was lovely, as was the woman who we travelled with to Seaworld. She went out of her way to help us with our travel plans and even organised alternative transport for us. Unfortunately, though, we did travel with one male driver who was extremely rude and unhelpful. His manner made us reluctant to travel back with him from Movieworld, so this was a real disappointment to us.

There wasn't any signage stating "skip the line." I just guessed and went in the queue for groups and industry staff, which was the shorter line.

I waited 2 hrs just for a 30 second Superman ride! If the theme parks adopt the HK Disney system, I am sure the visitors can enjoy more rides. Time is money after all.

We didn't skip the line, and the guide to the entrance said there is no such thing! Also, we could have gotten the tickets at discounted prices right in our hotel.

Doing what:

Great time. So easy and quick to organise online. Quick to get through the lines having prepaid.

Doing what:

Logistics worked perfectly. As for the parks, enjoyed Wet and Wild thoroughly, the kids loved Sea World with all the sea life and polar bears, etc. Movie World left a bit to be desired.

Doing what:

This was a great idea, we saved a lot of queuing time.

Doing what:

Value for money, though attractions not on the same scale as in Florida.

Great place for all the family. Even the toddlers have lots to see and do. But take extra cash for all the lovely souvenirs. And lastly make sure you have lots of free space or film for the camera, you will need it for the live show at the end of the day.

I recommend Movie world for children and teens, not adults. I don't think it had enough for adults.

Doing what: Warner Bros. Movie World Gold Coast Theme Park Admission

The pass I purchased helped skip the line, but I found Movie World to be more of kids place. Considering that I traveled with three other adults, we were a little bit bored. We did enjoy the rides, even though the Superman ride was closed down for repairs. There were lots of souvenir shops, and the Police Academy Stunt Show was good. This was a good day out, but I probably wouldn't go a second time.
