Great value. I tried to visit Budapest Parliament on a previous trip and tickets were difficult to obtain. The Viator tour was great. We came in contact with several employees, all were friendly and helpful. The driver picked us up at the hotel desk at 0900 (we had a 0930 tour). I was a little nervous about the pick up time and called the Hungarian number...nothing to worry about, he gave me the 0900 pick up time and said they'd come to the desk. We were dropped off at an agency near the Intercontinental and transferred to a bus. That is where we presented our tickets. I had the e-ticket--which surprised the tour guide a little, but as soon as I presented my iPhone inside the agency, everything was ok. Tour was very nice, tour guide was knowledgeable, building magnificent. As an added bonus, we received boat tickets for an hour tour on the Danube--we took advantage of this as well, it was exactly what we were looking for. All and all, we found this to be a great value and the people wonderful. I will definitely use Viator again.

This is a very good tour to familarise yourself with Budapest. I recommend you do this as soon as possible in your trip., The Parliament House is beautiful. There were many groups going round and it was hard to hear the guide at times.

A great tour of the Parliament. Tour guide at the Parliament was very soft spoken. Needs to speak louder to groups. City tour was nice but would have been nice to include St. Matthias from the inside.

The tour to the Parliament House was interesting. After that we had another guide who did the city sightseeing tour; she was excellent and spoke such good English. She was knowledgeable and provided us with good information

This trip was very good. At the parliament, due to the laws there, our guide could not lead the tour. We got mixed in with a different group so our group for that part tripled. Everything else was great.

We stayed at the Inercontinental hotel in Budapest, and the tour meeting point was there, so for us that was a plus, the tour was very interesting, I do recomend it, the only downside for us, is that it ends outside the Parliament, it does not take you back to the pick up place, found out at the end of the tour.

We were picked up by taxi from our hotel and driven to the bus stop where we were met by our very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable guide. Before entering the Parliament our guide took the group to a nearby neighborhood and pointed out architectural features of beautiful 19 century buildings that housed offices and residences of government officials and diplomats during the waning days of the Hapsburg Empire. The tour of the Parlament was outstanding: features of each of the chambers both in terms of the architecture and the role of each in governmental functions. She also pointed out paintings of notable persons and the beautiful decor of the building. We felt that we really learned a great deal about the building as well as the Austro-Hungarian history that took place in the buiding.

The interior of the Parliament is beautiful, and pre-booking the guided tour is a must. You can only visit by taking a tour. Our guide was very good and the admin was excellent

I had been taking tours with Viator since 2010. My experiences with the local companies had been very nice always. But with the local company in Budapest was dissapointing. I called the day before to confirm my pick up time at the hotel and 20 minutes after that time I called them back because we were still waiting and they told me that they can not pick me in the morning tour but in the afternoon. In the afternoon I noticed that their agency was in the same street as my hotel!!! They had my phone # and knew the hotel where I was staying and they could have notified me early in the morning. The Parliament tour and guide was very good, as well as the guide that took us to take the city tour. But the lady guide that gave us the city tour was rude and refused to tell me the name of the fisherman area until all the group was listen to her, because she was not going to tell the name twice. Please, talked to that agency, so they improve their service and the way they treat customers.

Due to problems I don't fully understand, we we were only offered the city part of this tour. Later, on another day, the tour company gave us a tour of the Parliament House. We're thankful we had the time to spare for the separate Parliament tour. Parliament House should not be missed.
