Doing what: Budapest City Walking Tour
We booked our walking tour on the first morning of our weekend in Budapest so we could get a better idea of the city's history and geography, our guide was a lovely, well spoken lady who had a wealth of knowledge and was happy to suggest additional areas/sights to see. When booking the tour online it was heavily discounted (50%) but we would have happily paid full price and felt we had got our moneys worth. In addition to a tour of the main sights the inclusive break in a strudel/coffee shop was very good. This was our first Viatour booking but will not be our last. Thank you.

Doing what: Budapest Half-Day Sightseeing Tour
Goofed and did not label Vienna as a 5 star. It was great but Budapest was the one short on historical information.

Doing what: Budapest City Walking Tour
Pleasant and leisurely walk through several parts of town with a stop for strudel (we were able to watch it being made). Our guide quite knowledgeable about the history and quite good.

Excellent. Tour guide was brilliant and gave us a great insite into Budapest. Coffee and pastries was very welcome in a charming restaurant with great decor.

Doing what: Budapest City Walking Tour
Other than the rain which plagued the entire tour, it was a good experience. The tour guide (Julie) was very knowledgeable and more importantly, very personable. The tour started at the Opera and ended with spectacular views at Castle Hill.

Doing what: Budapest Half-Day Sightseeing Tour
Was good, except you need to provide headphone translator to avoid boring the tourists while listening to many languages.

Doing what: Budapest Half-Day Sightseeing Tour
This tour was well executed and quite interesting. The best part of it, I felt, was the visit to the Heroes' Memorial, which is very impressive. We liked the spectacular views from the Cathedral and from the Liberation Memorial, too. Great photo opportunities! The Cathedral visit, however, was a lot of uphill walking in the heat, with nothing to do or see once we got to the top! On the whole, though, it was worth the money.

Doing what: Budapest City Walking Tour
Only myself and my wife truned up for the tour so we had in effect a private tour. The lady who gave was very good and for the best part of 4 hours walked is all over the city using the underground as well. The tour ends in Pest and you can spend the afternoon there, (dont miss the Hospital in the Rock it has the wow factor).
The coffee and cake stop was lovely and well timed, all in all one of our best days in Budapest.
