i recommend this tour, also a private mercedes taxi picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off at the inter-continental hotel where the tour bus leaves from, the guide was superb and the parliament visit superb, the guide also takes you round some of the buildings near the parliament before a timed visit inside the parliament, the bus tour also takes you around most of the city with short stops, the tour bus guides were also very good,it cuts out long queing so you can enjoy your holiday, this tour companys office is also located inside the intercontinental hotel next to the river danube, have used viator a few times now and will do again in the future.
Terrific tour of the city with all major sights and a very professional tour guide with complete and insightful historical vignettes. The Parliament visit which included a walking tour about the district was particularly spectacular and enlightening. It is hard to see how anyone would not highly rate this package which also included photos stops at the citadel for a magnificent panorama of the entire city.
There is no interior visit of Matthias Church; these is a separate entrance fee that is not included and there is insufficient time to explore both the Church and the Bastion.
Excellent tour. Opportunity to see lots of locations and history. Not enough time to spend in more locations.
Hi. I can not tell more better things about this tour, everything was coordinated and nothing was left aside. Our guide was very knowledgeable about this beautiful city and she knew many aspects of the city life, key country parameters, industries, and historical events. Not just enough with this great walking visit the tour finishes with a boat tour which is very pleasant after visiting the city, remembering all things being said during the tour, and contemplating the scenery. Highly recommended tour.
We truly recommend this excellent tour of such a beautiful city with a first class guide. We visited all the important places of interest and were given plenty of time to walk around the lovely Heroes' Square and especially the very impressive castle where we even had time for a coffee break which is unusual on most city tours. We really enjoyed this experience and it represented great value for money.
Tour was multi-lingual which took a little longer to communicate important landmarks as they appeared on the tour. The Parliament was great as was the view from the Citadella. However, the tour was in a coach, which made viewing and picture taking difficult. A "Hop-on / Hop-off" style open bus would have been better for us.
This tour was absolutely brilliant, guide knew so much about his city, it was superb and highly recommended
I booked my walking tour a few days before going to Budapest with my wife and all information given was correct. We contacted the local agent in Budapest, in-fact the office was very close to our hotel and the three hour plus walk, with a very lovely and knowledgeable local guide was a great experience and also a lovely end to our short break. The guide spoke excellent English and we were lucky that it was only the three of us. I highly recommend anyone to use these service.
We had Anita as our guide, a real fountain of knowledge. Just what we wanted so that we could go back to see the things we wanted to. Excellent.
