We really enjoyed the tour. The Tigre Delta River Cruise was really nice and relaxing. The city tour showed us the highlights of Buenos Aires and stopped at La Boca and Casa Rosada, which we really enjoyed. And the dinner and Tango show were awesome. Our steak was delicious as was dessert :-) and the Tango show was exceptional. The theatre is small and we were seated in front. The dancers and costumes were great!! Thank you.
All together this was a nice tour, but don't be fooled, you will not stop at all the places listed on the tour. You drive by most of them in a large a/c'd and comfortable bus. The bus, however, has high seats and blocks much of the view. The bus does stop at the Casa Rosada and Caminito and finally dropping you off close to San Telmo if you wish. Best day for this tour is Sunday as the San Telmo flea market is only Sundays. Also this is not an all day tour, 9 am to around 1pm. The evening tango show was wonderful! Dinner at the Cafe de los Angelitos was not great, but the show was well worth it. All in all if you know what to expect, it is a good tour.
This tour was lackluster at best. After spending the first hour of the tour picking up people at various hotels, the tour finally started. The tour guide was bland, and offered very little additional information other than, "This is the cathedral" or "this is the Casa Rosada." I feel like I learned very little about the actual city of Buenos Aires, it's history and it's culture.
Doing what: Buenos Aires Sightseeing Tour
1 out of 3 activities was worth doing. The Tigre Delta River Cruise was alright. I did not really get too much information out of it. I saw the landscape, but did not really see the meaning of what I was appreciating. NOTE: there was NO TIME for lunch. I did not eat lunch until like 5PM. The city tour was alright too. We did not get off the bus much other than in the main plaza where the Casa Rosada was and El Caminito popular neighborhood in Buenos Aires. The Tango show was really good, but not so much the food. The tour guides were really polite and nice, but that did not compensate for the money I spent on this.
