A good way to see the city during a brief stopover there... Excellent guide and visited the most important places... Would recommend
An excellent bus with big windows with an excellent guide gave information and answered questions, taking us to all the highlights, and letting us inside buildings or places to get the feel of this unique city in a minimum time. Thankyou!
Was as described but felt certain areas were passed by on the fringe - such as St Telmo. Biggest annoyance was the phone confirmation requirement - wasted hours trying to get through from Chile to confirm as we were not arriving much before the tour. There is a reason I use Viator on line and the phone thing destroyed the usual advantage.
The company that this tour is booked through is not the company that takes you on the tour. We had trouble contacting this company to figure out whether they were to pick us up from our hotel. Note pickup is from JW Marriot from the city and not from your hotel - the tour itself was good but would have been good if this company provided more info ahead of time.
Note from Viator: Your honest feedback is appreciated and is a helpful reminder for other travelers. As noted on our web site for this tour, "Tour departs from selected Buenos Aires area hotels...you must contact the local service provider to verify your exact pickup time. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Voucher." In other words, our supplier can not pick up customers at every hotel, but at certain hotels determined in advance, which would be specified upon contacting them ahead of time. Glad to hear you were able to reach them in time and enjoyed the tour!
As a brief, inexpensive over-view of the city, this bus tour was worth doing. You will not get to visit the Cemetery in Recolleta with this tour and that is something no one visiting Buenos Aires should miss.
Guide and tour good but guide spoke many languages and it got very tiring listening to all the languages.
The itinerary was very good; the stops allowing us to get off the bus also the right amount of time and made the time on the bus easy to take. The guide was also good. Only complaint -- we were picked up from our hotel very late, with no apologies!
The experience got off to a rough start when the company canceled the tour due to President Cristina Fernandez' inauguration. It was rescheduled for that Monday and everything went well from then on. The tour guide was knowledgable, patient, and multilingual. The keyword to keep in mind here is "introductory tour". Our tour started with a mere drive by a side wall of Recoleta cemetery. There were 15 minutes allowed in the area of Casa Rosada and 30 mins in Caminito. There were a couple of stops for pictures of Evita's monument and Boca Jrs stadium. It's a good tour at the beginning of a first-timers stay - it will help you plan out a more in depth tour of points that interested you. They won't necessarily pick you up from your hotel - our pick up was 7 blocks away at a different hotel. That's not a terrible thing - but something to keep in mind.
Trip ok , only 2 stops and people returning late to the coach pressurised time.
Would have liked to stop to foto the bridge etc.
Confusion as guide did not expect to return us to our hotel but driver kindly did so.
