I am very happy with my experience with Viator, the tango dinner show was excellent very place with it, thank you very much, it was a 5 star rating, the city tour I would like it a little longer and more complet, I give it a 4 star rating, y considered for another time, thank you very much, Veronica,
We enjoyed the day but felt disappointed when we discovered we were not going to see Eva Peron grave. Perhaps we did not understand the wording of the trip description. We didn't think very much of the girl coming on and trying to sell a video and photographs.
This is a good way to get your coordinates in this huge buzzing city. It was nothing spectacular, but the guide was very funny and led us to understand the local way of thinking.
More an overview of what else to do in each neighborhood than an actual city tour. Not very informative. The tour does not start on time, and pick-up is not on time at all. In addition, tour does not last as long as stated in the Viator description (it doesn't go until 2pm). The guy who takes your pictures will then want to sell you a badly photoshopped picture of your group. I recommend that you look for a better city tour of Buenos Aires.
Tour pick up was an hour late. Scheduled for a 3 hour tour, but due to the late start the tour was cut short. Did not see all the points of interest as told by the tour guide we would be visiting. My tour was a waste of money.
We were suposed to be picked up at 1400. Bus arrived at 1500. There were 3 different nationalities on board the bus and my wife an I were the only English speaking couple. The tour guide seemed to forget about us and described very little of the sights in English. When she did say something in English it was after we had passed the point of interest. Tour was to be 4 hours. Ours lasted about 3 hours and an hour of that time was spent at two tourtist traps. Not a good experience and I would not recommend this tour to my worst enemy.
Was as described but felt certain areas were passed by on the fringe - such as St Telmo. Biggest annoyance was the phone confirmation requirement - wasted hours trying to get through from Chile to confirm as we were not arriving much before the tour. There is a reason I use Viator on line and the phone thing destroyed the usual advantage.
Very bad tour, old dirty bus, we booked an English
tour , but was mainly Spanish. We were not picked up at our hotel as promised. We were very disappointed.
Waited 1 1/4 hour to be picked. We were only picked up because our hotel helped us to find out where the bus was. We were simple forgotten by allthough the pick-up time had been assured the night before
As a brief, inexpensive over-view of the city, this bus tour was worth doing. You will not get to visit the Cemetery in Recolleta with this tour and that is something no one visiting Buenos Aires should miss.
Guide and tour good but guide spoke many languages and it got very tiring listening to all the languages.
The experience got off to a rough start when the company canceled the tour due to President Cristina Fernandez' inauguration. It was rescheduled for that Monday and everything went well from then on. The tour guide was knowledgable, patient, and multilingual. The keyword to keep in mind here is "introductory tour". Our tour started with a mere drive by a side wall of Recoleta cemetery. There were 15 minutes allowed in the area of Casa Rosada and 30 mins in Caminito. There were a couple of stops for pictures of Evita's monument and Boca Jrs stadium. It's a good tour at the beginning of a first-timers stay - it will help you plan out a more in depth tour of points that interested you. They won't necessarily pick you up from your hotel - our pick up was 7 blocks away at a different hotel. That's not a terrible thing - but something to keep in mind.
Trip ok , only 2 stops and people returning late to the coach pressurised time.
Would have liked to stop to foto the bridge etc.
Confusion as guide did not expect to return us to our hotel but driver kindly did so.
