This was not a good deal and 2 out of the 3 tours were not that great. Tigre delta cruise was horrible. You basically got on a boat and saw the inhabitants houses. The problem is the boat engine was so loud that I could not hear the tour recording and had no idea of the historical significance of what we were seeing! The ride was over an hour and I kept wondering when it was going to end! Next they took us to a shopping plaza for 30mins. I was not happy that there wasn't a lunch stop and we promptly got on the way to be dropped off for the city tour. The city tour wasn't that great and I blame myself for this as I assumed the bus would stop at several locations so we could take pics. This did not happen. We eventually stopped at one location shopping plaza again to shop and we were dropped off for the next tour. The tango dinner was ok. I didn't eat most of my meal and from other reviewers this seems to be a hit or miss. However the tango show was AMAZING! You cannot miss this. Overall this tour was not that great. I would recommend the tango show and a separate walking tour you go by bus and subway viator runs that was EXCELLENT and skip the Tigre delta cruise. Generally package deals, no Bueno.
The Tango experience was perfect. the venue was sized for intimacy, out of the way location, and the staff, dancers and musicians were flawless. I would highly recommend.
Tigre Delta good.
Tango show great.
City tour a bit ordinary and not well organised. Poor host.
We really enjoyed this show, the tango class was a lot of fun, the instructors made a very fun activity..it does take a lot when learning tango!
We booked the show with dinner, the food was good, you have lots of options and it is a 3 course meal, plus all you can drink of wine and sodas.
The singers and dancers were amazing, and we really enjoyed the band. The only thing though, was that we were expecting more tango, we did hear famous songs and solos performed by the band, but we where expecting to see more of the dancers. But overall, it was a good show. Also the gift shop has a very good Dulce de leche! -
Loved the river cruise and tango show. We skipped out on the city tour because there wasn't enough time to get lunch and we had seen many of the the sites on our own. Tour guide was knowledgable.
The show was 3 hours long. The show started out great but then as soon as "señor tango" started talking and singing, the entire show was ruined. I don't know who this guy thinks he is. He interrogated members of the audience and thought he was God's gift to earth. The ending was good though.
Great sightseeing tour, although would have been better with a stop at Recoletta cemetery as well as Boca. Tango show was excellent, as was the food.
This was a very busy experience, with 3 activities throughout the day, but well worth it. The river cruise was an insight into a very different way of life and was very interesting. The sightseeing tour was informative although, if this is your thing, I would recommend taking a longer one. The Tango show and meal was excellent, our driver didnt speak English and there was a bit of confusion as we didnt know he was waiting for clearance to park up and let us enter the hall a minor niggle All the pick ups were on time and the communication was good...Thank you..
There was a lot crammed into one day. The Tigre Delta cruise was basically a pleasure boat going in and out of the various narrow channels. There was no wildlife just the guide pointing out different people's houses. The sight seeing tour again was a quick whiz round many of the landmark places. The Tango dinner and show was really very good. Plenty to eat and drink and the tango dancing show was very entertaining. We were picked up and dropped off without problems.
Excellent classic Tango dancers, musicians, singers. A must see experience.
Morning Trip was fine. The Tango show was a problem as the Driver did not speak English. As it was St Patrick's Day the roads around our Hotel were closed on the way back. The Driver just indicated for us to get out and walk to the hotel. We had no idea where we were. Luckily a Policeman escorted us through the crowds and back to our hotel. To me it would make sense to have an English speaking Driver when you have English speaking visitors.
Tours were very good - especially the Tango tour. Loved that.
This tour was very disorganized and rushed! We barely could see anything and its just a waste of time and money. The Tango dinner show was nice but the dinner itself was rubbish! Cold food and not fresh! Cheap wine!
It was a great tour - terrific for seeing ALL parts of the city, especially Boca, and then ending with wonderful tango show. A great bargain. Couldn't be better
I rate FIVE STARS!!! I specially enjoyed the Tango Show. I highly recommend it! Well worth the price.
We had concerns about how the 3 tours would work but they worked seemlessly. Our guide Natalie was excellent and her English was very good and easy to understand. Pick up and drop off to our Hotel worked well and were on time and the Tango show was superb. Thoroughly recommend this trip as is was very good value.
The Tango show was out of this world and the dinner! Would love to see the show again. The Rver Cruise was interesting and the City Tour.
A wonderful venue and stage show, that is highly recommended for Tango enthusiasts and those that are wanting to know more about the art. The only downside is the extremely overpriced beverage list at the venue, that clearly targets tourists given that Buenos Aires serves very affordable drinks even at its most exclusive venues, but this is only a side note to an otherwise recommended night out.
It was excellent value for money, three tours in one. The tango show at the end was the best, definitely worth doing.
One thing to note; Buenos Aires is a bigger city than New York, be prepared to be lost and although English is spoken well, get some basic Spanish phrases just in case.
Tango dancing was fantastic and the venue was lovely, food was good although we waited ages for our main meal and show had started when it arrived. The show starts quite late 10pm and would be better if it started a bit earlier as it goes on for a couple of hours but overall a great tour.
Doing what: Piazzolla Tango Show and Dinner in Buenos Aires
The Tango show and restaurant were excellent. The city tour was worthless. Most time was spent shopping.
Great tour...the guide did a fantastic job switching effortlessly into three languages! The Tango Dinner show was fantastic...food good and the dancing was amazing....well worth every penny!
very informative re city , time to take pics ideal if only on a short visit note casa rosada is open sat and sun well worth a look
tango show and dinner was excellent got to meet other diners from around the world
The best Tango-Show in Town!!!
The dinner was very good, but not great. Still, good by Buenos Aires standards means the food was very excellent compared to what I could get at home...it's just there are better restaurants in Buenos Aires. Sort of felt bad that as a lonely diner I had to eat by myself instead of people I had met on the way there. However, drinks were included (huge plus) and the tango show was fantastic! 4.5 out of 5 stars.
