enjoyable night with food and drinks a plenty and the staff very knowledgeable and committed and highly recommend a must do with lots of hands on encounters
We arrived at the zoo with 3 kids expecting to have a wait, we were quickly checked in and seated in the restaurant for breakfast within minutes, the table was already set up for us with a high chair. The food was excellent, the children were welcome, the zoo was beautiful lots of shade, lots of paths to walk on, hardly any stairs. They even had prams to hire. Very good day out.
Checking the itinerary it might seem that this could turn out a little disappointing.
However the sheer level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and pure comittment by the staff to make sure you "enjoyed" your night made this for me one of the highlights of my extremely enjoyable stay in Cairns.
* Food was great (chicken especially!)
* Drinks were freeflowing
* Staff knew their stuff and responded well to awkward customers like myself who wanted to know "more about the animals"

you can't hold koalas in sydney area, so Cairns was great for this! absolutely loved seeing native animals, especially the cassowary! we thought a half day was plenty to see the zoo; definitely catch the bird show!
We had breakfast with a Koala and a Cockatoo!! The food was lovely and fresh and the staff were more than accommodating. The animals were varied so we got to see not only the natives but some of the exotics. The zoo looks a little old and a little run down but it is very clean and the shows they put on for the tourists are a lot of fun. Our kids loved feeding the kangaroos and patting them so that was a buzz.. Great day out for all ages!!
Super fun night at the Cairns Zoo! I got to hold a koala, hand feed kangaroos and see a bunch of other cool Australian animals. Dinner was good, and it was really nice that drinks were included in the price.
We enjoyed the morning breakfast with the Koala's, they were a pleasure to see, and the food buffet, was also very good, the folks there were very friendly as well, I would recommend this highly, the bird show was awesome to see also. thanks so much.

Wonderful experience. Excellent service and amazing activities (the zoo, the helicopter, and the snokelling /cruise). Would recommend this to anyone!
Had a great Aussie night, great Aussie BBQ food, enjoyed the torch tour of the night animals, Great concert at the end.
This was a great tour!! The zoo was as cool as a zoo can be. My favorite was the red pandas. After the zoo we took the helicopter flight which was so gorgeous. It is a memory that I will never forget. The pilot was informative about where we were flying, such as which reef was which, etc. After the ride the boat was really great. There was only time for one snorkel adventure but I had been snorkeling before so I was ok with that. The staff was really great and helped out all of us who came late by the helicopter. On the way back we entertained by one of staff and it was great. Just a fantastic tour.
my husband is very hard to please, but this night zoo safari was the best thing ever, a real aussie fun night out, the staff couldnt do enough to make us all feel welcome. The food was great, plenty to drink and a very informative night just loved it! Thanks Viator

Guides were awesome, very knowledgable and friendly. Food was great and plenty of it! Good selection of animals. Well worth a visit!
Excellent! The best part of my trip! And the crocs here are heaps bigger than the Crocodile Farm tour ones! Great people too - excellent characters - made the night fun.
The zoo was great. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff and information given were terrific. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our day.
