Doing what: Pyramids Sound and Light Show with Private Transport
As cheesy as it was, I loved the Sound and Light Show. The Pyramids lit up under the stars and seeing the Sphinx come to life was brilliant. Kids would love this show as well. Bring a light jacket though, it's little cooler at night.

The English should give back the nose! Interesting to learn the history of the pyramids and sphinx, and it was one of the better Sound and Light Shows in Egypt. It's cool just to see the place at night.

This is a great way to see the amazing pyramids and sphinx from a distance at night, but the show narrative could do with some updating. Go for an early show to get some great views and photos of the sun setting behind the pyramids and hire a blanket if you feel the cold. The tour company that picked us up from the hotel was first class.

Memphis, Giza, the Sphinx -- all wonderful. I highly recommend this tour.
