This trip was FANTASTIC! Worth every single penny! Cruising the Nile is a very unique and beautiful experience. The ship was beautifully decorated, and the cabins are large, clean and equivalent to fancy hotel rooms. The food on board was absolutely delicious! The best food I've tasted in all of Egypt!
The guided tours were nice as was spending time on the cruise ship itself. There is a pool and plenty of lounge areas to relax from the Upper Egypt Heat.
Overall, the cruise is a very well organized experience. Would definitely recommend to others!

The food was delicious and the show amazing. I do wish there were more dessert options though or that the included option be something more people would like/ not be allergic to. Also wish i'd known drinks were not included, but it was very beautiful and an overall wonderful experience.

Overall this was a very good package. The boat was clean and our room was quite spacious. The food was also very good, though the staff in the dining room often seemed eager to clear our plates and move us along. They did not always create a relaxing environment.
By far the best part of the package was our private guide, Sayeed. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable of the temples and tombs we visited, he was just a great person, full of interesting conversation. He took us for an informal and unscheduled tour of Aswan (his hometown) and told us all about the lives of people in southern Egypt.
When our cruise ended we had a whole day in Luxor before flying out that night. The boat let us use the the roof deck during the day and then provided us with transport to the airport which was a welcome surprise.
The entertainment at night was cheesy and not worth attending. The staff at the front desk was not always very helpful, either. Still, this was a very enjoyable cruise and we would recommend it.

I thought this cruise was pretty well valued and note that some other tour companies were charging more for the same cruise. We travelled during the Xmas period, and were pleasantly surprised when we checked into our room. Clean, spacious, and pretty comfortable, with room serviced daily.
All meals provided were buffet style, and plentiful. Drinks are not included and purchased separately. Sometimes entertainment is provided in the evening (Xmas party, belly dancing), but it wasn't the most exciting so to speak.
I didn't realize until we boarded that you get your own private tour guide (for each separate booking), which is nice, because that gives you some flexibility with some toured sites/times. We were assigned a lovely and knowledgable guide, whom we engaged for an extra day our after disembarkation. The 4 day cruise covers most of the sites between aswan and luxor, though you disembark first thing on the morning on day 4, so technically it 's more a 3 day, 3 night tour.
All in all, good package, well priced. We were pretty happy with the booking. Recommended.

A thoroughly enjoyable, well organised trip. Our personal guide 'Mohomed' was wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable and very good company. The cruise was very relaxing and cruise staff extremely helpful. Value for money..

great trip....outstanding value for money....unbelievable sites.....having more detailed trip notes and someone on the ship to give us a more comprehensive history of Egypt would have helped us to understand more about what we were looking at.....locals selling felucca trips,horse rides and taxis were a pain in the backside and the police ought to be doing more to stop them....guidance from Viator about how much to tip and to who would have been very helpful and helped to remove a constant source of worry

I was picked up too early (about 2 hors in advance), I was explained it was to avoid traffic. I chose show and dinner included. The boat was great, dinner fine, the show... 2 girl singers who performed great, an incredible male dancer, and the female belly dancer... honestly there was a girl who was invited to dance and she did much much better and the former dancer, besides she gor some extra pounds on!

Overall, the cruise was great! The set menu was surprisingly good and the entertainment was breath-taking. I can't say enough about the belly-dancer and whirling dervish. They were worth the price of admission alone. My flight into Cairo arrived later than expected and I would've missed the 7:00 p.m. seating. Luckily, a friend was able to contact the travel company in Egypt to arrange for me to enjoy the late dinner. Service was a bit slow and I found that the waiters were more attentive to the large groups as opposed to the smaller tables at the periphery of the dining room. My only complaint was the tour guide, Taha, from South Sinai Travel. I didn't mind the fact that I was picked up 2 hours before my scheduled dinner and ended up waiting over an hour at the riverside dock. But I did mind that Taha thought he was doing me a favor by suggesting I tip my guide the following day "at least $100 US." He made it a point to say he was referring to US currency. I also found it unprofessional of Taha to ask me for the use my cell phone after he had forgotten his in the tour van. That call cost me about $10. Then after he showed me to the dock and handed me my ticket, he said it was time for him to leave. He said that I would not see him again which was code-speak for "Tip, please." Afterwards, he said that I should just stand outside on the street by the entrance and the driver would find me. I didn't feel that safe doing it, but the driver did manage to find me in the post-cruise chaos.

I was very pleased with the service. It surpassed my expectations. The staff met us at the train station and was friendly and knowledgeable. The ship was spotless and food was delicious. Our personal guide became a good friend. Overall I would highly recommend this tour to any of my close family or friends.

a nice quiet dinner cruise. clean boat, holds about 150 people. buffet meal, all drinks, including water are extra. entertainment was quite good with singers, a twirler and a belly dancer- family entertainment. docks in front of the Marriott in Zamalek. approx 2 hours long.
