The Cancun Interactive Aquarium is home to colorful tropical fish, seahorses, jelly-fish medusas, sting rays, millenary sea turtles, piranhas, barracudas, tiger and bull sharks and more. You’ll learn about the natural habitats of each of the species and their role in the complex underwater eco-system as you tour the exhibits and interact with the marine life. Feed the sting rays and sea turtles, touch starfish, pet a shark or dive into the shark tank in a safety cage to feed the bull sharks.
If getting into the shark tank is too intimidating, consider a visit to the aquarium’s interactive dolphin habitat; the only place in Cancun where you can see a dolphin show, touch and swim alongside these intelligent and gentle creatures. The Cancun Interactive Aquarium also offers a dolphin educational program, dolphin training program and dolphin-assisted therapy programs.
