Honestly, this was wonderful. I am glad I got the small group, my girlfriend and I had a good time. It was so hot, they gave us umbrellas and water when we got there. Food was good for lunch. Our tour guide Miguel was really informative. I didn't expect it to be such a pleasant time. We left at 8 from our hotel where they picked us up from and dropped us off by 630. I highly recommend this tour. The company they used when we booked via viator was grayline and we will use them again. Make sure to bring lots of sunscreen and wear light clothes. The views were beautiful and one of a kind. Very enriching with history.

One of the best tours ever - Our guide He is extremely well-informed on the history, archeology, and ecology , and runs a beautifully organized, well-planned tour. We spent almost three hours in Chichen Itza and saw everything. For a museum history archeology buff or anyone. car is comfortable and after tour we enjoyed MAYALAND.swimming pool and lunch....

Had a great time! Price was better on viator than all the travel agencies I came across.

Excellent tour. Meet all our expectations.
Mayaland facilities are really beautiful, the guide was always ready to answer any question. The transportation was comfortable (I am 6'-3"), and Chichen Itza is a magical place.
In few words: We love it!

Now declared one the new 7 wonders of the world! You need to see this place. Great adventure. Prepare for a long day and expect a lot of HEAT! Take a hat (or you'll end up buying one there), sunscreen and a change of clothes. You'll end your day swimming in a cenote and it's wonderfully refreshing after a long day. The only thing I'd change is how much they push you to buy things at the Mayan village (too $$). You'll find similar items at Chichen Itza for less money.

I booked this tour prior to arriving in Cancun because of all the great reviews listed about Viator and also about what was in store, was exciting, because my Husband had never been. I had, actually was able to walk up all the way to the top back in the day. It was closed in 2007 according to our Guide, but I remember it. The pick up at the hotel was seamless and true to review the ride was quite comfortable, the tempature in the van was really nice too.We made a few stops along the way (what I found Strange) but propbably not so strange, we stopped and met other vehicles on the side of the roads to pick more people up,once we were at full capacity, which was about 18 of us or so we were on our way to Mayaland. We arrived on time, our Guide was already with us on the bus. The guide was super knowledgeable and carried around photos and other things he passed around to us for us to learn about the culture. He was very proud of his heritage and it showed through his love for the tour and what he was sharing with us. It is true to take extra money to buy if you want to buy souvenirs from the people trying to sell you everything as you are trying to make your way to the site. You will be asked to buy over and over, our guide was great in telling us what to look for in authentic pieces. After the tour of the site which was awesome. We returned to the hotel area for lunch. You will have to buy a Three Dollar (US) Soda if you want a drink. You will have to do this or you will not be allowed to drink anything! You are not allowed to take any waterbottles or any drink with you- I felt this was odd and over the top! Food was good, authentic but nothing I felt was amazing. All in All a Great Tour! You won't regret the experience. Try to visit the Chocolate museum they have free samples and we bought two bars to take home. Highly Reccomend Viator will use again on my next vacations.

Ruben, our tour guide, was very informative and entertaining. His sense of humor kept the tour upbeat and intriguing. If you are planning to visit Chichen Itza, I highly recommend Viator and Ruben for a great time for a great price!

This was so worth the money ! Chichen Itza is a must go! Two things to keep in mind: first, the tour guide is constantly sharing information throughout the 2 and 1/2 hour ride; second, save your money and shop at the site and not at the shop in the first stop. Everything is much cheaper at Chichen Itza

We had a such a great time, our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgable, we stopped for lunch which was nice and best of all we stopped at a beautiful cenote to swim- a truly amazing experience. Would highly recommend booking this trip.

It was a wonderful journey in time back to the Mayan civilization. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and that added to the memorable experience. Our group was small so you couldn't miss anything he had to say. This trip to one of the seven wonders of the world is worth the time it takes to get there.
