Good day. Wished we went to Tulum first however.

Doing what: Tulum and Xel-Ha All Inclusive Day Trip from Cancun
Long day. Trip is billed as a 9 hour tour however it actually took 12 hours from the time we were picked up until we were droped back off at our hotel. Also, Xel-Ha is listed as a aquarium when it is more like a water park. You swim and snorkle in logoons so you need a swimsuit and warm weather to enjoy. Great for kids but our real purpose was to see Tulum and the time at Xel-Ha was wasted time for us.

This is a must for all ages. If you don't want the water, the all inclusive food and drink option is also fabulous.

Doing what: Tulum and Xel-Ha All Inclusive Day Trip from Cancun
Had a great time in Xel-Ha and Tulum. They are so beautiful and you get all the food, drinks, and snorkeling you could want in Xel-Ha. We saw some amazing aquatic life. Tulum is also so amazing with the backdrop of the ocean. Our guide was very friendly and informative. Very comfortable transportation too and everything was just as promised and on time. Would highly recommend this tour!

Doing what: Tulum and Xel-Ha All Inclusive Day Trip from Cancun
At Xel-ha, I highly recommend doing the Sea Trek. A water helmet is placed on you, and you walk on the floor of the lagoon (about 10 feet down). A scuba diver releases some bait, and soon you are face-to-face with fish and sting rays. It costs extra but is well worth the experience. The best time to go to Tulum is in the afternoon. The views of the Caribbean are great. The only snafu was that the agency was an hour late in picking me up. Even though I provided them with the right hotel info when I book through Viator and again when I confirmed that I needed the hotel pickup, the agency conducting the tour had the wrong hotel info (the dispatcher I called wasn't very helpful).

Really enjoyed Tulum. Knowledgeable guide and beautiful view. Xel-Ha was limited if you are not a good swimmer. I can swim, but am not very strong. Food average.

My wife and I had a great time at Xel-Hal we added the trip to Tulum on the same day. We felt that there wasn't enough time to explore at Tulum and recommend cutting the tour guide short to go explore on your own just don't miss the bus back.

Would have been a phenomenal trip if we had not had torrential rains on and off all day. Would highly recommend, but watch weather report and book for a sunny day.

Doing what: Tulum and Xel-Ha All Inclusive Day Trip from Cancun
During my trip, we went to xel ha first and then tulum which - did not appreciate. I was told that we would go to tulum and that's what I was looking forward to. Our guide spoke way too much and it was unnecessary. Also, the tour should have been divided between english and spanish speakers and not put together for the whole tour.

Doing what: Tulum and Xel-Ha All Inclusive Day Trip from Cancun
The trip to the Xel-Ha was cut short because we had to leave at 3pm for Tulum which closes at 5pm. Beautiful place, though I wish I had more time at Xel-Ha.
