Spring Break in Cancun
Mexico and spring break go hand-in-hand like, well, a margarita in your hand! Cancun has some of the best beaches in Mexico, Mayan ruins to explore (some right on the beach!) and rainforests and jungles to keep even the most adventurous thrill-seeker busy for days.

Nothing says spring break like the beach, and Cancun has tons for any beach bum. Beach lovers can snorkel, swim with dolphins, or cruise the day away under the sun-bathed waters of the Yucatan. Day trips to the eco parks of Xel-Ha, Xcaret, and Xplor are fun for all ages, so if you have the kids in tow, there is plenty to explore. Horseback riding, meeting whale sharks, and boat rides through the Sian Ka'an Nature Reserve are just bonuses!

Cancun has plenty to offer adrenaline junkies, too! College students on a budget can still live large, from ATVs to Hummers, road races to ziplines, get your kicks in the Mexican Riviera. You can explore Tulum, go by SkyCycle, take a speed boat through the jungle, or try parasailing. Just trying to fit it all in is the hard part.

Finally, do not miss out on the history of the Yucatan peninsula. Chichen Itza is the crown jewel of Cancun's Mayan ruins, but don't miss Tulum - located right on the beach - or Coba, an easy day trip. Even the most jaded spring breaker should make time to see some of these breath taking sites!

At first I was hesitant to book this tour for my family and friends because of all the cheesy other activities that people are trying to sell- I am glad I did! We all had the best time. This company is extremely professional. The day started in the Mayan Ruins surrounded by 300 iguanas (amazing). We then left on our yellow HUMMER and once out of the town we traveled into the jungle (close the sunroof if you don’t want to get dirty...jajajja), finally we got to the cenotes…..crystal clear waters and many gadgets to play with. I was afraid of the zip line but it seems fun, what I really loved was the interactive Zoo, we played with monkeys, deer’s and walk along the crocodiles GREAT EXPERIENCE, the guide was knowledgeable and very professional.

Doing what: Chichen Itza Day Trip from Cancun

What a nice trip! Picked up on time at Riviera Maya and taken to office to catch bus with others! Slight wait but when we were on the road, had to wait for possible "late family" on the roadside, so we lost 15 minutes at the cenote/Keyote, so unable to have time to take a swim. What a beautiful natural swimming hole. A lot of history on the rituals of the region. The drive to the Yucatan was wonderful, a very knowledgeable guide talked the entire route of the Mayan history and culture.Stopped at a Mayan village to shop and for lunch with some local dancers as entertainers. We were lucky to find a local Mayan woodworker on items at the time, so we bought a beautiful piece by the artist himself! Lunch was good and the entertainment fun. Plenty of local vendors to choose from. Off to the Chichen Itza and the holy ground. Our guide was very educated and knowledgeable of the history. Location was wonderful and historical and crowded. Plenty of vendors to choice from to bargain with from woodworking to pottery to carvings to silver and clothing and blankets. Many locals selling their wares. The ride home was quiet and peaceful and the tour service arranged for a shuttle to meet us enroute to cut our return back to Cancun and make it easier for us as the day was a 12 hour day for us. It was a worthy excursion and professionally done. We would highly recommend it.

Doing what: Tulum and Xel-Ha All Inclusive Day Trip from Cancun

This is an excellent day trip from Cancun! I wish I had a little more time in both places. Tulum was facinating and Xel Ha was a lot of fun. The guid did a great job and assisted me in booking optional activities at Xel Ha.
