the trip was well organised from start to finish. You felt very safe and the crew kept you informed about your surroundings. The sub was fantastic and we saw lots of fish and marine life. The reef was awesome, the whole trip was well worth the cost
The tour was about a 4 but the tour operator gets a 0. We arrived by ship and ship time is an hour ahead of local island time so we were an hour early. No one told us. 9 AM island time rolls around and a bus shows up around 9:10 but not for us. The driver at first did not tell us and kept disappearing. He was pawning us off on other tour companies because the operator was not prepared. We were kicked off two other buses before we were finally put on a third bus. That tour driver was great. Very entertaining and informative but the bus had a A/C drain issue and my 76 year old dad got soaked from water dripping on his seat. They did try to fix it and cover the seat up but he still continued to get wet. We booked this tour because it was early and expected to be back on the ship to get some sun by noon but we were not back till 2:30 due to the time change and screw up by the tour operator. I would not book anything with this company.
it was terrible. They didn't tell us to meet them Island time so we went to the island at 9 A.M. our time. Then the driver didn't show up till 9:15 and didn't have a bus to take us. He pawned us off on another driver and that driver put us off his bus because he said our driver didn't pay him last time. An hour and a half after we were supposed to go on our tour he found someone else to take us. The bus was old and dirty and my husband ended up sitting under a dripping airconditioner and getting soaked.
This is not what we expected and was very aggrevating to say the least. My husband is a diabetic and I had to buy food for him at the store so his sugar wouldn't be low. All in all the five of us wouldn't recommend using your website again.
Doing what: Cayman West Bay Sightseeing Tour
Great excursion. Guide was very informative, engaging and helpful. All of the family enjoyed it and we saw saw some wonderful fish and other incredible sights especially the fish feeding. Would definitely recommend as a fun, exciting and educational experience and much better than a similar event we experienced in Cabo San Lucas a few years ago.
Horrible! We waited forever, they were rude, the bus broke down, and then we waited again!
Communication problem - Guide did not show until called . We were put on a tour with a different company about an hour later than our scheduled time .Tour itseld was quite good
Was not able to get off of the boat because bad swells. They could only get about half of the people in the tenders. Was looking forward to the tour. Maybe next time
Great to see all the fish and ship wrecks. They were so helpful to my husband since he just had back surgery 6 weeks ago
The tour lived up to our expectation. We saved money by not booking similar tour through the cruise ship. The guide adjusted the tour for the rum cake stop to avoid a large crowd from other tour groups. The only problem was that the tour guide did not come to the cruise ship terminal with an identifying sign. The guide was just looking around for people who had booked the tour. A guide from another tour company had told me to look for a person in a yellow shirt. I spotted the guide as he was working back to his bus.
Our driver was not at the meeting point. We saw the bus arrive later and waited for his arrival, finally my husband went to the parking lot and found the bus and driver. We were taken on a different tour then we had chosen. We went to Hell, Rum Shoppe and the Turtle Farm, which was very interesting. We had booked the Conch Shell House and Pedro St. James Great House.
It was difficult to find the bus and driver--no clear information about where we were supposed to be to be picked up. We did not leave the pier area until 9:30 (1/2 hour late). There were six of us "independent" travellers, and we were paired up with a larger group that included two other busses which were disorganized and we ended up stopping places that were not on our agenda when we signed up for the tour. I would not recommend your company to anyone else. The turtle farm was great, but using your tour to get there wasn't. The savings from the cruise excursion wasn't worth it.
We really enjoyed the Simisub tour. I think that may have boosted our courage enough to take a real submarine tour next time! Thanks for adding a highlight to our cruise.
The guide was very informative and explained everything in detail and was funny. The "submarine" was clean comfortable and our trip was shared with only one other couple that day. We stumbled upon this trip by accident on line and im so glad we did. Had a blast.
This excursion was great! The SUB was really cool, and not at all cramped. The views were good, crystal clear water, and we went down to 116 feet! The surface water was a bit rough, but that was not anybody's fault on this tour. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Same tour the ships sell you for 99.95 each, Viator is 11.bucks less pp. Loved it!!!
The tour was fine the directions were not. The referenced point "Hard Rock Cafe" is closed so you need to update directions to the Atlantis which is shown on local maps and nothing about Grand Cayman Shore Excursions is known by the locals nor has signs to identify. Two locals sent us in opposite direction.
