Excellent place, great tour. We enjoyed it so much. Cathedral was magnificent and champagne cellars were friendly and very informative. Guide was fantastic.
what a nice day! The small family run vineyard was a wonderful discovery. The history was an enjoyable addition to the tour.
This Tour was absolutely fabulous! The only thing that would have made it better would be more stops at small boutique cellars! Lunch was great, the Champagne at Dauby was amazing!!! Our Tour Guide was the best, so passionate.
This was a great experience. Was able to see the extremes of the champagne process very small to very large with amazing caves that were used a long long time ago. The guide was great, she was able to explain and provide the history of the entire region. It makes for a long day as the travel is quite long in the van, but well worth it, great champagne tasted and then purchased what we liked!
I was very disappointed in the champagne tour. We purchased a trip to the Moet and Chandon and Mumm vineyards and were not informed until we were on the road to Champagne that we would not be going to either of those facilities. Instead we were taken to a small processing facility in Reims and another small vintner. That was not the trip we paid for. The logistics for the trip were also very poor. We stopped for a brief 20 minutes at a cathedral, which we did not even get a chance to see because it took us 20 minutes to find a restroom, then we continued to the processing facility then back to the cathedral area for lunch. We only had 1.5 hours for lunch and very little was open. We stopped at the first restaurant that was open and waited 1 hour for our meal so we only had 15 minutes to eat before racing back to the bus. We were chastised for being five minutes late. From there we went to the small vintner, where we received one glass of champagne then sat around because there was nothing to do. We ended up heading back to Paris early because everyone was bored.
I would recommend in the future, the tour should be what is advertised. If that is not possible, then a notification should be sent to the customers or a discount provided. Also, if we would have gone straight to the first processing facility then been given 2 – 2.5 hours for lunch and exploration of the city before going to the final vintner, we would have had time to enjoy the city and the trip instead of being rushed to a place where there was nothing to do. I would recommend better communication and logistics in the future.
Perfect and well worth the long day out. The countryside is beautiful and our guide was very informative and helpful.
A fantastic tour with great guide who had a very good knowledge of history of the region, visited two winery which was great fun and one was family owned boutique winery which was amazing. The Rheims cathedral was absolutely stunning. Local cuisine was fantastic with some great bakeries. A must do..
Our guide, Marcus, was great, and the trip was fantastic. Would have liked to have a menu option at lunch, even if the restaurant was less fancy. Overall, it was a great experience.
Great day out!:). David extremely helpful and made the day fun.
Very interesting and informative tour. We chose the Grand Cru tour and tasting and were pleasantly surprised to receive two full glasses of different champagnes to try. We would have like a little more time to look around the museum but overall and excellent experience.
Fantastic experience. Vincent at Mumms was a great host and we had a fantastic time.
Fabulous day. Excellent vehicles, very informative guide and lucky for us on our day really fun people to share the tour with. Unfortunately Moet and Chandon were closed for the New Year break, but the other champagne house what interesting. Lovely lunch. Would 100% recommend this tour.
We enjoyed the Mumm tour, however we were the last group of the day and the guide had obviously had enough. He was not particularly engaging. The cellars are interesting, although much of it is for show, and the tasting at the end is always good.
Our guide was exceptional. Everything was well planned. Overall it was a great day! My only real complaint is the price, for what it was, I think a little overpriced. Meal at the restaurant was delicious but fairly small, you also had to pay for coffee if you so desired. Very educational however.
Be ready for a champagne educational tour and a long day the Mumm, guide tour was better than the Moet and Chandon.Reims was beautiful
