Despite a cold and rainy day it was a great trip. Guide was very knowledgeable, the scenery superb and the champagne great.

This trip was beautiful. We picked three trips through Viator and all were exceptional. The tour guide (Selena) was very well informed and the comparison between a small family owned winery and Moet-Chandon was a great contrast. The church tour was wonderful.

This was a great tour . We had a good group of people with us and we learned a lot about Champagne. I also enjoyed the brief stop at Rheims Cathedral. The Marc Chagall windows were very beautiful The countryside was very picturesque and the guide was very helpful.

The trip was amazing. The tour guides were very informative and friendly and the champagne was divine. I loved the fact that we were able to explore Reims for lunch and some souvenir shopping before the next tour.

This was an excellent tour! We had a very good guide, Frederick along with another local guide who explained the growing and tending of the vineyards. It was wonderful to visit the cave of Gabriel Pagin and Fils as the owner explained how he makes his champagne. He gave us a taste of his champagne later and it was delicious!! The tour to the caves of Moët et Chandon was very good also.

I absolutely loved this tour! I learned so much about the making of champagne, got to tour a small and large winery. Saw all the popular champagne winery's. Then got to taste some champagne :). Highly recommend!!

Doing what: Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris
This trip was fantastic. Two wineries and three champagnes, although we only tasted two champagnes, but the Dom Perignon takes much longer to produce and therefore is too expensive to give away. But both tours were interesting, in English and full of great information about creating and aging the wines, "champagne." We also had plenty of our own time for a relaxing lunch and shopping in Eparney.

Full tourist bus to Champaign Country. While it does say the tour is in English - it was also in Russian, Japanese and Spanish - it takes a little getting used too, but you learn to tune out the extra languages.
Our first stop was Mumm's - the factory guide was not the most proficient English speaker - but did ok. After a brief video of the history of Mumm's (pronounced Mooms) -we were taken on a tour of the cellars and the chanpaign makng process.
For those who wished, a quick tour was given of the Cathedral - though majestic, it's a re-build after being destroyed during World War I. Enough time was gicen to grab lunch and walk around before head for Moet and Chandon.
There is no question the Moet is the more upscale of the two name brands we visited. From the marble reception area to a deeper history lesson on the company. The cellars were unbelievable! Never mind the millions of bottles of Moet - being aged in the bottle in different states - but also the million bottles or so of Dom Perignon.
Both wineries offered a one glass per customer tasting.
All in all a nice way to spend the day.
