Doing what: G.H. Mumm Champagne House Cellar Tour
The champagne cellar tour and tasting were a lot of fun. Make sure you email GH Mumm beforehand and schedule a time for the tour with them. On the Viator website it just states "Visits from 9am to 12am and from 2pm to 6pm" so we showed up at 11am and found out they had scheduled our tour for 2pm. Thank goodness they didn't schedule us before 11am or we would have missed it! Also, the tour (in English) and tasting take about an hour. It was really cool to see the production process, the Grand Cru tasting we got at the end was delicious and you can't beat the price. Definitely recommend!

Doing what: Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris
The tour to the Champagne region in France was everything I hoped it would be. The guides were extremely well versed in the area and were able to provide the history of the area. The winery were incredible. This tour is a must for anyone who enjoys champagne or wants to see the French countryside.

Doing what: Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris
We had a great time on the Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris and would recommend to anyone who enjoys a nice glass of Champagne. It was very interesting learning about how the Champange is made. Just a warning though - it is very cold down in the cellers so take a warm top!

Doing what: Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris
The tour started off well, even though we departed 20 min late. All was well until the tourists who required a Spanish speaking guide learned that there wasn't one available at the Moet Chandon winery and that they had to receive the tour in French or English instead - a complete lost cause for them. I felt bad for them because they paid all this money when they were told they would have a translator and at the last minute there wasn't one. Also, although the tour guides were full of interesting facts and information to share, they were very disorganized and left the group to fend for themselves when there wasn't a clear idea as to where to go when we received our entrance ticket into the tour at Chandon.I personally asked the guide about 2-3 times where we were supposed to go and he just looked at me and didn't say a word. I wouldn't recommend this tour strictly due to the poor quality service.

It was to expensive for what we got. We could receive a booklet with the information on the region, it would be helpfull. The tour guide had a hard English to understand and I was set beside her.

Not sure it is worth the price and long trip to visit two champagne cellars with a small glass at each...friendly guides though.

Doing what: Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris
The charge for the trip was excessive given what the actual entry price was for the two champagne houses. The fact that only one glass of champagne was available at each location (and no choice at Moët and Chandon) was disappointing. The guides were great at the champagne houses but the Viator guides were dismissive and not particularly customer service oriented. It was raining on our tour and the Viator guides wouldn't consider bringing the bus around the corner to pick up their customers nor did they organize to cycle umbrellas back to Moët and it was particularly rude given that there was a mother and baby who were expected to run through the rain as a result....thankfully we, the customers organized to address this issue by sharing of umbrellas but none the less most on the tour ended up sitting in soaking clothes for the two and a half hour bus ride back to Paris. It is definitely worth seeing the champagne houses and doing their tours G.H. Mumm was the stand out, but don't expect much from the tour operator here.

Doing what: G.H. Mumm Champagne House Cellar Tour
The champagne house was great but don't book on this site. Mumm scheduled us for a morning tour but this site never told us. The confirmation just said the regular hours and we thought we could go at any time. We ended up waiting over an hour for the next English tour.

A great day which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were particularly impressed with our tour guide. She gave an excellent commentary on the Reims Cathedral and on the bus journey. The bus was very comfortable and all stops were on time. We would highly reccommend this tour to others.
