Comment from Christine
Épernay, east of Paris and on the south side of the Parc Naturel régional de la Montagne de Reims, is generally agreed to be the cultural capital of the Champagne region—meaning, it is the epicenter of the world of Champagne. Which is why you need to know as much as possible about how to spend your time there!
How to get to Épernay
It’s interesting to note that in the case of going from Paris to Épernay, the TER, or regional train, takes less time (1.25 hours) and costs less (€22.50) than the TGV, or high-speed train.Editor’s Note: This recommendation was taken from our Champagne Things to Do blog.
