What a terrific way to learn about our city. Yes, we are new to the area and had no idea of all the rich history and diversity of this city.

Excellent tour - relaxing, informative and fun. Tour Guide Jake was GREAT! Be sure to bring a jacket if the weather is the least bit cool.

Very enjoyable tour. The only thing that would have made it better is if there would have been more picture opportunities, but then that would have been a whole day tour! The tour guide was wonderful! Would highly recommend the tour.

We missed our scheduled 10 a.m. tour because no one ever called back from Greyline
Tours. I finally talked to a woman at 10:15. She said the tour left from the Palmer House, but agreed to put us on the Noon tour and sent a shuttle to pick us up. Tour was delayed a bit because police had our first road blocked off, so guide and driver agreed to go another route. Basically tour was very good!

Presenter was informed and informative, glib and some times funny. Tour of the river goes a bit fast if you are planning on taking photos at the same time. Location of boarding easy to miss on the pier if no boats running.

The tour of the south side was excellent and highly informative, although the tour of the north side was rather uneventful. Meeting the tour was difficult: it wasn't obvious on the tour page that the pickup isn't offered for hotels outside the downtown core and the details that I received about meeting the tour wern't especially clear.
In sum, good tours, but the logistics need to be made clearer.

Unfortunately couldn't understand the guide who spoke very quickly on a very poor PA system.

The tour guide had a pattern of speech that was not fluid and conversational but had a staccato quality. It made him very difficult to understand without intense concentration. I felt like I caught about 20% of what he said. Very disappointing as we went through areas of interest to me.

As this was my first visit to Chicago, I took the four hour tour and at the end of it I felt I had a general idea of what Chicago was like. I was lucky with the weather, Chicago's blue sky made everywhere inviting and our guide's rather pseudo-ironic style managed to enliven the neighbourhoods and the buildings we passed. The twenty minute break at the conservatory filled with spring made a perfect teaser for what would replace the still-bare nature outside. My one quibble is that the windows of the bus should always be perfectly clean (no water marks) so the pictures taken from the bus (there are few stops) are free of streaks, etc.

I cannot imagine having gone to Chicago and missed this tour. We learned so much from our informative guide who was humerous and very interactive with the group. We had a blast! Everyone in our family, from the "elders" through the teenagers absolutely raved about the experience. Thanks for the memories!

Unfortunately the weather was unkind on the day of our tour,but otherwise we
found it an interesting and informative experience ! Our guide, named Grant, imparted
information on the city's Architecture in a very clear and distinct voice. He ecouraged
and got great participation from the tour group. We would strongly recommend visitors to chicago to include this tour in their itinerary!
