Doing what: Chicago Grand Half-Day Tour
The driver did not engage the people and sounded like just a recorder. Very boring trip and I along with other passengers could not wait to get off the bus.
Will not recommend as this point.

The haunted segway tour was our family's favourite part of our trip to Chicago! The tour guides were so much fun! The tour guides were hilarious and made the tour exciting and fun! We loved every minute of it!!!

Doing what: Chicago Grand Half-Day Tour
Bus did not collect as scheduled, so when I called up was advised to get a taxi to another venue in town and money would be reimbursed. Tour ver informative except microphone for driver was distorted and very difficult to understand some of what Leon was saying. I would recommend doing north and south in two separate rides.

Doing what: Chicago Grand Half-Day Tour
This was by far the worst city tour I've ever done in my entire life and I've done quite a few and in many different countries. If I could give negative stars I would. It is four hours of my life I will never get back. Actually, more when one considers we were picked up at 11:20 at our hotel and then had to wait on the tour bus for about 25 minutes as the tour did not start until 12:00. Why we were picked up so early I don’t know.
Unless you are over the age of 65 do not go on this tour. And unless you are a huge fan of Obama do not do the North side tour. I have nothing against Obama but I learned more about his life than I really need to know. On the North side tour you will learn where Obama works out, orders pizza, see his house, see where his victory speech was made, and what hotels he has stayed at. And then they take you through the university campus where there's really nothing of note other than where the atomic age started.
The tour guide does not provide any history about Chicago other than telling you when things were built. He pointed out at least thirty different loft conversions and when they were done (mostly within the last seven years). He also pointed out a pedestrian overpass that was completed nine years ago and other insignificant items.
And the half hour stop at Lincoln park is completely useless. The bus has to park quite a distance from the zoo so there isn’t really anything that can be done within the time frame allotted. And then on our tour the bus driver disappeared with the bus. Everyone on my tour panicked thinking we had been left as the bus driver didn't bother letting us know he had to leave nor he was late in returning. Such a bad tour. I learned nothing about Chicago’s history.

Doing what: Chicago Grand Half-Day Tour
This tour was actually two, two hour tours, combined into one. You visit the north and south sides of Chicago. The tour itself was good and the tour driver was excellent. The second half of the tour was a tad boring. However, it is a good overview of Chicago. Especially, like me, if you have never been there before.

Doing what: Chicago River and Lake Architecture Tour
Great way to see the city.

Doing what: Chicago Grand Tour and Hancock Observatory
This tour is actually split into 2 x 2 hour tours on big buses. I prefer the smaller buses, so was not a fan of this tour. Could have spent less time at the observatory and maybe more time at the zoo stop. I would not recommend this tour.

Doing what: Chicago Grand Half-Day Tour
This tour was terrible. The bus driver spoke in a monotone the whole time and nobody understood what he was saying. There were some people from Germany on the tour who asked him to slow down because they couldn't understand him and he just kept talking the same. English is my first language and even I couldn't understand him. He let us stop for a 10 minute break. My husband and I were back to where the bus was supposed to be 7 minutes later and the bus driver had left us...in the cold and in the rain. We were sitting right next to the bus driver for 3 hours prior to that. How he could've left us I don't know. I had to call the central desk to send him back. Nobody apologized to us or anything. Overall rating of the trip: TERRIBLE.

Doing what: Chicago Grand Half-Day Tour
They treat as two different tours. Kept going back and forth to office. What was bad, their was no lunch break. One stop on each tour, but nowhere near food purchase.
Second stop no restrooms.

Doing what: Chicago River and Lake Architecture Tour
We had a difficult time figuring out which tour we were on. The tour guide was GREAT! It was an interesting tour. They should just remove the rows that the buoys are in instead of asking people to get up and move, though.
