Doing what: Go Chicago Card

Purchasing the Go Card was a great decision! Saved so much money and appreciated not having to wait in long lines. Had a little trouble finding the place to pick up the card, needs to be explained better. But we would get it again for sure and recommend it to everyone!

Doing what: Chicago Segway Tour

The segway tour was super fun. It wasn't the most informative tour, but seeing the city this way was definitely worth the money.

Doing what: Go Chicago Card

awesome card! we had such a great experience not having to worry about how much everything would cost. The only thing with this card is at the John Hancock Tower it says that you have express entry but they say you don't. definitely recommend if you want to see a lot of attractions.

Doing what: Chicago Grand Half-Day Tour

I have to admit that I thought 4 hours on a bus how boring, but I was wrong....We saw so much of the City and then was able to write down what I would like to visit again....excellent could not ask for anything more.....Thank you for making our trip very informative and enjoyable.

Doing what: Chicago CityPass

The city pass was a great way to go. It gave VIP access to several attractions and included many extras.

Doing what: Chicago Segway Tour

Had a great day with our guide. Had a party of six which included four member of our family. The Segway was easy to ride and the skills session. We enjoyed this tour immensly, particularly as a different way of touring the city.

Doing what: Chicago CityPass

We did Shedd, Adler, Field and Hancock all in one day because that is all the time we had.
Great for an overview for going back. Our children are 20 and 14 and enjoy this type of day so it worked. We got to attend 2 of the special movies.
The last venue, Field, was sold out for the day by the time we got there but we could have returned the next day with no problem. I would not recommend starting at Shedd for your passes as this was the longest line by far.
Adler would have been best to start so we could have turned in our voucher for our passes with no wait.
We went on Monday not Saturday as is indicated.

Doing what: Chicago Grand Half-Day Tour

Overall a very good and complete tour of all the downtown areas. We had a tour guide for the Northern half that mostly just named buildings as we went by. The Southern half we had a guide extremely knowledgeable and very informative. Didn't need to drive by Obama's house three times, though. The bus was very good and the schedule and organization worked very well.

Doing what: Chicago Grand Half-Day Tour

This was a very good tour, covering much of the city.

Doing what: Chicago CityPass

Very good value if your stay is at least 4 days. Caveat--the "go to the front of the waiting line" perk of the pass does not apply at the Art Institute of Chicago--allow about 45 minutes to get inside.

Doing what: Chicago Segway Tour

Very enjoyable and unique experience. The tour was about 4 hours and covered essentially sites viewable form Grant Park. It is not for the mobility challenged as it does take more skill to operate than some reviews indicate. Most able bodied adults should have no problem.

Doing what: Chicago CityPass

Other than wishing the Field Museum hours we're longer so we could have had more time to explore the all of the exhibits our experience was fantastic! TheChicago City Pass was a great purchase and I will defnitely recommend it to a friend.

Doing what: Go Chicago Card

We spent 2 days in Chicago. We stayed in the suburbs so by the time we picked up our Go Chicago card we were a bit stressed about getting our money's worth. Everything has to be done by 5:30pm so you are on a time crunch if you start late. It was confusing at first because we thought the card was our ticket but it was not. You still have to get a ticket for everything you do. Getting the bus tour and trolley requires a ticket from the Palmer House Hotel. The trolley and bus tour guides were helpful and knowledgeable but there wasn't really a schedule so we spent a lot of time waiting for the trolley. The visit to the Willis tower and Aquarium made it all worth it as we bypassed the line ups! Definitely worth it once you figure out the system!
