This is a must-do tour for anyone visiting Chicago for the first time. We hopped off/on 3 times: once for lunch, once for the Sear's Tower and once for Millenium Park. Highly recommend!
I booked this trip for myself and four other friends -we are between 50 - 70 yrs old. None of us had ever been on a Segway before and were a little nervous. We had an absolute blast and what a fun way to see the city ! Staff was so welcoming and helpful ( I got lost on my way to the tour location and they stayed on the phone giving me- literally- step by step directions!) Being a Safety and Risk Supervisor, I was impressed with their attention and commitment to safe operations. Our guide Meadows was patient and knowledgable making the tour fun and comfortable for everyone. We all had such a good time and talked about it so much after that the other 12 ladies in our travel group were sorry they didn't take the tour too!! I enjoyed it so much my husband and I will be taking the tour with this company again in San Fransisco next month. I highly recommend this tour-Fun, Fun, Fun.
This is a handy inexpensive way to get around Chicago - the stop we used (Garretts popcorn) was a little obscure and the trolley had plastic windows so we werent able to take photos but for a quick trip to Chicago well worth it for the price and to get your bearings of this great city.
Great tour with Amy who was wonderful and friendly. The segways are easy to operate and I'm 64. Great value and fun. I love Chicago. Also do the Chicago Greeter tour with a free guide. Ask for Bob.
The food and service were very good, although the cheesecake was a little frozen. When we did our cruise in the evening in late April it was very cold outside on the deck at sunset.
Bus did not collect as scheduled, so when I called up was advised to get a taxi to another venue in town and money would be reimbursed. Tour ver informative except microphone for driver was distorted and very difficult to understand some of what Leon was saying. I would recommend doing north and south in two separate rides.
A very cold Chicago Darwinth the wind whipping the waves on the lake. Nothing dimmed our enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who entertained us and informed us in equal measure. A great way to appreciate what we discovered was a superb city.
Nice Tour as long you seat on the upper deck,,if you stay on the lower deck YOU WILL NOT ENJOY ANYTHING ON TOUR!!
We had a blast. Our daughter was not with us for this trip so the next city we visit we will do another Segway tour. The guide was very freindly and enjoyable.
The staff was very courteous and accomodating. It was a very nice atmosphere and a very nice evening out for us. The water was a little choppy that evening which made the boat rock more than it typically would. This is not a ding against the company, they have no control over that. I'm merely pointing it out because It made it difficult to balance when standing.
Overall we had a great time. We would absolutely do it again. The skyline is beautiful at night.
