This tour was very good. We were able to see a lot of the main sites of Chicago. The tour buses ran very often, so we didn't have to wait in the blustering cold for a long time. We used the tour buses for two days consecutively to get around Chicago. All the guides we had were very knowledgeable and had a deep love for there city. That plus a sense of humor made each time we were on the bus a different experience. Next time I'm in Chicago I would definitely use them again.

As this was my first visit to Chicago, I took the four hour tour and at the end of it I felt I had a general idea of what Chicago was like. I was lucky with the weather, Chicago's blue sky made everywhere inviting and our guide's rather pseudo-ironic style managed to enliven the neighbourhoods and the buildings we passed. The twenty minute break at the conservatory filled with spring made a perfect teaser for what would replace the still-bare nature outside. My one quibble is that the windows of the bus should always be perfectly clean (no water marks) so the pictures taken from the bus (there are few stops) are free of streaks, etc.

Definitely worth it for the tour and information by the great guides, it was used mostly as a way of transportation between attractions for us. The tour was interesting and the buses were clean.
A couple of FYI's though, the buses were running about 30 minutes apart, but we were there early April so it was before busy season, sometimes the wait was too long. Also, if you want it as a way to travel between attractions, beware that the tour is pretty long - it takes quite a while especially through heavy traffic to make it from some stops to others. Be strategic where you get on and off so you don't spend too much time sight seeing when you'd rather just get somewhere.
We would definitely book this tour again.

I do not recommend this tour on a cold day. The windows were all fogged up! My daughter and I kept wiping off our windows with tissues. We went through a whole pack of the purse size packs. They kept fogging back up. I got bored with the tour about halfway through because I couldn't see what he was pointing out. This was my daughter's first trip to Chicago. I wanted her to get enough of a taste to want to return. Not sure she did but I'll get her to go again in warmer weather.

Enjoyed almost all of it. Unforgently one leg we had cabanna Bob. He actually told the whole bus to "shut up and listen to me". We were totally shocked. All other drivers were informative and fun

The Tour was great, and the info given on the bus was interesting and fun, but that is once we found the bus. We tried to get on the bus at the Willis Tower on Friday afternoon, but there was no visible bus stop ! When we finally found the bus, the driver had no idea who Viator was, and what our tickets were !!! Luckily, everything was fine the next day.

I have to say that the three or four times that I boarded a city tour bus, the drivers/tour guides were absolutely excellent. They were entertaining, informative and above all, quite patient. Worst part were the rude tourists talking so loud the drivers could not be heard.
