It was a quiet day, so not all of the attractions were running as scheduled - except our tour guide made sure they did. The snow room and hagglund ride are a must - the 4D adventure comprised of getting squirted in the face with water (that was the 4th D)
Though the earthquake closed the Antartic Center, the tour operator did a great job of providing alternative arrangements. Our driver, Ross, was outstanding -- friendly and personable.
This is all you must seen in Christchurch...
Well we were the only 2 taking the big 5 on the day we went so we joined with another group who were only doing 4 attractions and they were given a choice between 2 of the attractions so they're was confusion and delays from the start. We were on the bus for 50mins before we got to our first attraction the next attraction we were there for a rushed hour. My husband and I had to catch the bus with the others who were going on the Gondola( we weren't told we were not) when we got there we were put on another bus to go for our cruise but the bus driver didn't tell the new bus driver we were going for the cruise so he just took us back to the city with the rest of the group. So we missed the cruise and were refunded an amount of money which we thought wasn't enough. All in all a crap day!!
Great time had by all. Plenty of time to see the outstanding exhibits that the city has to offer.
What a great day. Jam packed full of all the best sights and experiences Christchurch has to offer. Well organized and fantastic value for money. If you only have one day available in Christchurch, I would thoroughly recommend doing the "Big Five Attractions". We were amazed by the friendliness and helpfulness of both the tour drivers and operators. A great start to our holiday. Thanks.

Very nice tour through the city and up to the lookout and the harbour. Wouldn't recommend the Antarctic Centre unless you have children with you.
Good full day coverage of Christchurch attractions. Cruise & Gondala were highlights. Drivers very helpful.
Poor weather broke up our tour, and transport for the rescheduled part of our tour cruise and gondola was an issue.
Well organised but as it involved many activities, a schedule would have been helpful. Also, not enough time at each location, especially the 'willowpark' location. The Black Cat catamaran wasn't and the sail not as good as it should have been.
If you have limited time in Christchurch, this tour is an excellent way to see 5 of the main attractions. The tour guide was very friendly and safety conscious. Thankyou for a wonderful day.
What a fantastic and interesting day. It gave us an excellent overview of the top five attractions and the combination of venues was tops. We had to defer our trip by a week due to heavy fog when we due to arrive in Christchurch and our subsequent diversion for the night to Auckland, but the staff at Canterbury Leisure Tours were very helpful even at 2.00am in the morning when I rang to inform them of our arrival delay and nothing was a problem. The collection at the motel was exactly on time and the day run completely to schedule.
