A university town, part of Boulder’s appeal is its vibrant atmosphere. It’s a great town for just hanging out, browsing the bookstores in Pearl Street Mall, idling time away in bars and cafes, and visiting galleries.
Over the year, Boulder hosts several film festivals and events, orchestral programs and festivals.
Outside of town there are hiking and cycling trails to Four Mile Canyon, Flagstaff Mountain and Chautauqua Park. Rock climbers head to Eldorado Canyon State Park and the city’s signature rock formations, the nearby Flatirons.
