Smartest thing I have done! The Copenhagen card saved me dollars as I was able to travel OUT OF TOWN on the train to see Fredricksborg Castle - a 40 minute train ride away. Also, made 2 trips to the airport, rode the bus 2 days and water taxi all around Copenhagen. This was a budget saver!
Having the Copenhagen Card made things a lot easier for us to get around. No worries about currency to purchase transportation. We used the card for admission to a few of the castles and museums. While it may not have been as cost effective because we could not use it, it sure made things easier for us.
Extremely useful and convenient. Value for money especially the 3 days card. Highly recommend card as a good way to see Copenhagen as there are so many places to visit.
Great way to visit Copenhagen! Easily able to get around using the buses, boats and trams. Plus we found it a much better savings on all the places we visited. Will use again in the future!
Fantastic value for money. Transport system easy to use and understand. Spent 3 days in Copenhagen, went on free boat tour, 25% off bike tour, very good, Elsinore casle by the train, 3 entries into Tivoli gardens (paid for iteslf just on that), crown jewels, spiral church for the view and a few other freebies.
Great, had a wonderful time seeing the many interesting sights. Found the Copenhagen card useful to access transport and sights. Found CPH very easy to walk around,
Worth taking to get an idea of where to find the sightseeing places in Copenhagen, as well as learn the history of the places you visit
Very good pass, would definitely get it as it covers the main attractions of Copenhagen. Worth it just for the entry into Tivoli Gardens.
Big tip though - get it at the airport when you arrive (it only activates on your 1st actual use) and not at the tourist centre as if you land on a public holiday the tourist centre is not open.
I bought the 3 day card and did not get as much value as I could have from the card. Two main reasons - my plane was delayed so did not use the metro at 3am to get from airport and I did not get to all the places I had planned to. I walked more than I planned so did not use the public transport much. Despite this, I would buy the Copenahgen card again. The convenience of having it and knowing you don't have to keep paying out money for transport was great. Still believe it is great value.
