Doing what: City Tour of Copenhagen
it's a good tour to start your trip; very quick and to the point. Great to learn the city so you can explore in more depth later. Nice tour guides. Good introduction to Copenhagen.

Doing what: Copenhagen City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
Everything was great until the Gay Parade started in the early afternoon. HOHO stopped selling tickets and parked their busses so we could not go back to some of the areas we wanted to visit. HOHO officials almost agreed to give us a ride out to the Queen's Palace but said we would have to make other arrangements to get back to the Central Station where we needed to catch the train back to our hotels at the airport. Just our bad luck to have choosen a day when everything stopped for a parade - What a Mess it was...

Doing what: Copenhagen Panoramic City Tour with Harbor Cruise
The tour itself was good, and covered on the bus most interesting sights. We had to wait for the boat 1 hour and 10 minutes, however, due to some local swimming contest in the canals. This unnecessarily altered our plans for the day, but there was nothing we could do about it.

Doing what: Copenhagen Panoramic City Tour with Harbor Cruise
the harbor tour was wonderful - guide was interesting and took time at end to give directions to some of the participants. The city tour part was with a driver who was silent and the narration was recorded. This allowed no questions and was disappointing.

Doing what: Copenhagen City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
Hop on hop off very good but why finish at 4.30
meant couldn't get off to visit Rosenborg Castle as no time to visit and get last bus. Also why do you employ ignorant and rude bearded morons like the one at Nyhavn. So let you down. Only 3 * due to 4.30 close otherwise 5

Doing what: Copenhagen City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
Very short, could have driven more around Copenhaged and see more. Do not like the audio guide.

Doing what: Copenhagen City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
It was a very nice City, but the first driver we had was probably the most arrogant and obnoxious characters that I have ever met. Unfortunately I did not get his name so I can't tip you guys off! Basically he forgot to give me a receipt when I got on the bus and said it was my problem when I challenged him about it, when departing the bus as we needed to get on another bus as it terminated at one stop. After one of his colleagues calming the driver down I then got a replacement receipt, he even wound a few passengers up on the same tour and accused a woman of stealing. Very unprofessional! Anyway the second driver was very nice and we enjoyed the tour from then on, lovely city (if on the expensive side) and worth a visit. Thank you Viator!

Buses did not run often enough. Long wait time especially with Copenhagen traffic.

Doing what: Copenhagen City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
We were disappointed with Hop-on's handling of passengers waiting for the bus. There were no set lines just 2 men selling tickets to whoever could crowd closest to them. There were a lot of people shoving and pushing to get onto already crowded buses. There were not enough buses to handle the crowds. With so many jammed into a bus it was very difficult to see the sights or plug into the audio system. We felt we'd missed a lot of Copenhagen and would have done as well walking.

Doing what: Copenhagen Panoramic City Tour with Tivoli Gardens
The place of bus tour starting point was so easy to miss! There was no map or address clearly written, only saying it is opposite the Tivoli garden, which is naturally taken as the entrance of the Tivoli garden! We went around to look for the buss and took a long time and almost missed it! Again the bus was stopped at the loyal palace and we were asked to walk to the marmaid statue, the instruction was again very unclear. We got 10 minutes to walk but it was simly not possible to be there within 10 minutes so that we thought we must need to turn already much earlier than the expected meeting point. We tried to find the place to meet but never got there. We missed the bus and had such a stressful time to search for the right point to find the bus. The bus was also very old and crowded. We would recommend tourist to simply walk or take collective transport to get to these places from the railway station.

Doing what: Copenhagen City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
The bus was very inconsistent - the drivers seemed to stop for varied long amount of time at random stops. The schedule didn't seem to matter to them at all. It was not just one driver - it happened throughout the day.
The worst part of the experience was getting locked on the bus at the end of the day. The drvier didn't make an announcement or check the bus before he locked up and walked away. There were 4 of us on the top level that were trapped. The driver did eventaully come back only to yell at us for being on his bus and claim that is was our fault!! He told us that it wasn't his problem and that we had to get a cab wherever we wanted to go from there. Terrible customer service!!

Doing what: Copenhagen City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
I have used the Hop-On Hop-Off buses in the past and have a great experience each time. This time was different. The bus driver would make random stops that were not included on the route map as scheduled stops. These stops would be last approximately 20mins with no explanation as to why the driver had stopped. At one stop for Rosenborg, the driver stopped two streets away! We had to walk to 10 minutes to get the actual palace.
Later that day my friend and I were still on the bus. We were sitting up top on the second level. There was another couple sitting ahead of us. All of a sudden, the driver stopped at a non-designated location, stopped the bus, got off, locked up and walked away without advising anyone! I went downstairs and all the doors were locked. We had no way of getting off the bus! My friend called an emergency number that was listed on wall but was forwarded to a technical school. A few minutes later the driver came back to move the bus to the over night parking garage and got mad at us for being on the bus. The driver did not announce that the tour was over or that this was the last stop. He didn’t check the bus either before locking up for the night! It was a horrible experience and not a great way to start our vacation.
