Doing what: Castles Tour from Copenhagen: North Zealand and Hamlet Castle
Frederiksborg slot is very nice. So was the photo stop at Fredensborg slot, where we were fortunate that the stop coincided with the changing of the guard. I did'nt like Kronborg slot. The castle is very much in need of some work and the rooms have very few furniture. Also there is a lack of explanations for the tourist at each room. Per, the bus driver, was a very helpful fellow, though we think that he talked too much, giving "information" and not guiding, as he several times insisted on saying. On the way back, people are normally tired and profit the trip to rest. But Per insisted on giving "information" through the loudspeakers of the bus, holding the microphone in one hand and the wheel on the other, which seemed to us that was not very safe.

A good trip giving adequate time to view the castles, but which could have been improved by extending its time allocation to allow for improved viewing of the countryside and coastal scenery beyond the confines of Copenhagen.

It was a great tour and you absolutely get your money's worth. A bit fast and rushed but there are a lot of things to see.

Departure point was a bit misleading, since it is a bus on the street. Our guide tried to take a short cut that did not work, but we somehow made up the time. The travel to the castles goes through nice local neighborhoods and the beautiful beach, you can even see Sweden on the other side of the ocean. The tour is multi-lingual, but the guide did a good job at controlling the group, which we found is not always the case in these multi lingual tours. The highlight for us was Hamlet Castle, it was beautiful. Visit the dungeon, it is a must!

Sadly we took the tour on a rainy drery day but it sort of made Hamlet's Castle a little more real. I thought it was going to be a more guided tour but the bus driver just takes you to the locations and basically gives you the tckets and you do it on your own. Thats great for some and it was fine for us - depend on how you like a tour. Very enjoyable day - bring an umbrella as Denmark can be wet

Like the website says, If you love castles. The bus/guide get you there, you're on your own after that. Kronborg Castle and Frederiksborg Castle are great places to visit but I think this can be done with the Copenhagen Card and a little extra walking at no added cost.

There was no guide for this tour; just a bus driver. Although we were given headsets to listen to a canned "tour" as we drove to the castles, we were left on our own with no direction for the castle tours. The driver didn't bother to mention that guide books or headsets were available at the castle tour offices. We were simply told when to be back at the bus. The driver was simply rude. I would NOT recommend this tour to others.

Excellent tour. The day of the tour we flew in from Newark, USA. We thought we will sleep on the bus but the guide did such an excellent job we didn't want to miss anything she said. Castles are great. I recommend this tour. This is one of three tours I book with Viator. Loved them all.

Excellent tour and tour guide! Wish the air conditioning had been working in the upper level of the bus!

Great way to see the less touristy areas of Copenhagen. There isn't a lot of time to spend at the three castles but it's a great experience and I highly recommend it.
