Interesting tour. Guide was very knowledgeable.
After not being able to find where we were suppose to meet the bus originally after a phone call we found where we were to meet and were able to use our voucher the next day the tour was very good. The guide was able to give us a full appreciation of the are and castles, Very Good
Interesting tour but should start a little earlier so that lunch would not be do late.
I agree with other reviewers about having to ask directions to our bus, but it was close by, and we allowed plenty of time to find it. This was an interesting and informative tour, and I would recommend it. Our guide, Thomas, was a wealth of information and very personable. The only problem was that he rushed us through many rooms, rather than spending time in fewer rooms to allow us to look at the artifacts and take photos. We lost him a couple of times in the maze of rooms and on our way back to the bus. We are not shoppers, which is fine, because we had no time to browse. If you get Thomas as a guide, you will be rewarded with his vast knowledge, but you must let him know to slow his pace and keep the group together.
I wish there had been better instructions on how/where to meet the bus, but we found them and had an enjoyable day. The lunch options were poor and we had all of 20 minutes, so bring a snack with you. Tour guide Marianne was top notch and the castles definitely worth seeing.
Both of the castles were very interesting and well worth a visit. The tour guide was friendly but the commentary was not historic just quirky or so I thought until the guide provided her own version of the moral character of the Australian that married a Danish Prince. I felt her gossip column comments about Princess Mary were extremely unpleasant. The coach driver was very pleasant and friendly. I would recommend the castle tour to other tourists.
Good tour guide. However due to limited time at the castles, little opportunity to take photos outside in the grounds of the castle, almost all the time being spent walking around inside the castles. Great if you want to hear the history/stories but not so good if you want to walk around outside to take photos or admire the gardens.
i enjoyed it very much, it was a high light of my Copenhagen experience. I was lucky with supper good guied who enjoyed his stories with all of us, and it made it more interesting. Lots of free time to explore everything around and shop as well. it was good.
Best castle in the Baltic. Loved it and our guide was great.
Informative and pleasant trip giving an insight to the area outside Copenhagen. Tour and guide's information was good. Unfortunately there was insufficient time to explore the gardens at Frederiksborg castle.
A long day but was well worth doing. Our guide was excellent.
excellent wish to have more time though tour guide is a bit too preoccupied with time. i almost got lost coming back to bus at hamlet castle. didnt know how to go to the bus. lady tour guide dont seem to be interested in her passengers safety and whereabouts.
