It was amazing!! I don't think the photos tell the whole story and one has to be there to experience it. The trip makes for a long day but it was worth it. Because of rain in Cusco, we had to take a 2 hour bus and then the train. I was expecting the train all the way from Cusco.

Fantastic trip well organised, enjoyed every part of it. The vistadome train trip is wonderful. A pity it isnt made clear that the trains can not leave from Cusco anymore, so half of the trip is done by coach and only half is on the vistadome.

incredible experience and although the traveling period was long, it was nice not having to worry about finding our own form of transportation

I enjoyed this trip very much! The best reason to do this tour is to outsource your headaches and by headaches, I mean getting bus tickets, train tickets, transportation to the bus station, return trip to Cusco, etc. Also, when I got to Cusco, I had a little trouble discussing my trip with the tour company on the phone because they were having computer troubles however their main office is just a few streets away from San Pedro market so I walked over there and sorted everything out (not a long walk at all). They were very helpful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable although he did get a little annoyed when we were taking pictures while he was talking. Overall, a great experience and I would do it again.

Great train journey with fun staff. It is really best to stay for 2days in Machu Picu because walking around the archaeological site is very tiring. Great lunch at the hotel in the village

My husband became ill on May 19 and we could not go to Machu Pichu on May 20. I called the local Cuzco o
ffice and asked if we could reschedule our trip later in the week. i was told that our pre-payment was only good for that date. If we wanted to reschedule the tour we would have to pay again. After my husband had a medical visit at the Marriott Hotel on 5/20 and was diagnosed with a digestive parasite and was given 2 medications. We did pay again and went on the tour on Thursday, May23.
WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME! OUR GUIDE In MACHU PICHU WAS JOHNNY AND HE WAS VERY WELL INFORMED AND REALLY TOOK GREAT CARE OF ME AND MY HUSBAND.
(WE LOVED YOUR TOUR BUT WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT WE HAD PAY DOUBLE THE COST)

There was a lot of confusion before my tour. The local tour company did not have any record of my reservation. I highly recommend calling at least 3 days before the tour to confirm. With the help of the staff at my hotel, they were able to accommodate me. The tour itself was amazing! Machu Picchu is a 'must" if you are in the area. My guide, Jose, was very friendly and was very knowledgeable about the history of Machu Picchu. One piece of advice - Sunday is free for locals, so Machu Picchu tends to be very crowded that day.

Machu Picchu was a great experience but the tour got a bit hectic. Before leaving the states, we got emails notifying us that we had been kicked off the tour. After much ado and miscommunication, we secured the entire group on the tour on the date we wanted (though it took mayne phone calls, emails and stress to confirm this).
Once there, we learned that the train from Cusco was down, so we had to take a shuttle from the hotel to the train station, board a bus, then go to a different train stating over an hour away, board a train to Aguas Calientes and then take the bus up to Machu PIcchu. We also were under the impression that lunch was a part of the tour, however were told once we reached Aguas Calientes that we did not receive lunch. This was an expensive tour to not receive lunch and all of the restaurants in Aguas Calientes are extremely overpriced. The tour itself was great but wish it had been smoother and included lunch.

Excellent day out. PERU Rail was wonderful. The early start was a challenge but everything went to plan with this trip. Highly recommend this day out.

Excellent place. Tremendous energy! ! Very much it was pleasant to us. From minuses - foolish system of distribution of places in the train when one family transplant on the different ends of the car. The prices in Makchu Pikchu the very high

Great experience! The trip started with a hotel pick up in the morning, transportation to Machu Picchu, English speaking guide, and transportation back to our hotel in the evening. Our guide Victor was the best guide we’ve ever had. We asked him a lot of questions and he always answered in details and with a smile.
I do recommend this trip.

This was amazing! Spent 2 weeks in South America (Colombia and Peru), and this was by far the highlight of the trip! Must do!
