The very first park to feature Six Flags' famously scary roller coaster rides was Six Flags Over Texas, which opened in 1961.
Six Flags Over Texas is all about rides, from toddler-friendly Texas Tea Cups to soaring splashdowns, the Superman Tower of Power, Dive Bomber Alley and the 25-story stomach-churning roller coaster named Titan.
There’s entertainment too, including music competitions, parades, concerts, karaoke and revues.
On-site pit stops for lunch and drinks include Tex-Mex, burgers, pizzas and giant hot dogs.
