Doing what: Darwin Afternoon Sightseeing Tour

It was OK. I wouldn't really bother unless you don't have time. We hired a car for the next 2 days and drove around which was great. Darwin is a WONDERFUL place and easy to explore.

This tour was good and the the view from the top where the art site is was really good. This trip is really laid back and a lot of time was spent in a coach. I would have preferred a little bit more adventure, but I'm not sure if there would have been enough time for that.

The gorge was beautiful. The tour was a lot of driving though and it felt like we drove to the gorge and then drove back. It would have been nice to combine one of the jumping crocodile cruises with this tour.

Unfortunately when we went all of the crocodiles were sleeping so it wasn't really all that stimulating. We were just in a glass cage in water staring at them. I think the experience would have been cooler if the crocodiles were awake and more interactive. However, as they are wild animals, it is always impossible to predict how they are going to react.

Doing what: Darwin Jumping Crocodiles Cruise on Adelaide River

A bit of a mix up with the hotel pickup the lady on the phone (number given by email confirmation) told me that they don't do hotel pick ups anyway we made our way to the transit centre, when the bus arrived the driver told me that he was waiting for us at the hotel for a while, confusion between different providers.
Anyway, the tour was great, lots of crocs....

A very pleasant day. Swimming in the waterholes was great but very dangerous on slippery rocks to get in.

We were a little disappointed in the river cruise. There was no wildlife to be seen. It was a very long day. Would suggest overnighting in Kakadu.

The crocs were awesome and the tour guides were a laugh. Its a tour everyone must do while in the top end!

Absolutely brilliant tour! Picked up on time, good bus driver, fabulous lunch, awesome cruise with aboriginal guide (witty and entertaining), and delivered back to our hotel on time. Fully recommend this one!!

Doing what: Cage of Death at Darwin's Crocosaurus Cove

Great activity if the crocs are lively.

Excellent tour and our tour guide, Chris, was very good, interesting and informative. The trip up the gorge was one of our holiday highlights.

Least enjoyable tour of our holiday. We travelled in a mini bus - no cold water available (unlike all other tours which carried ample cold water). The main emphasis of our guide was to get it over with as quickly as possible, fo example the first thing he told us on the bus was that we would return an hour earlier than scheduled. He then seemed to focus on going as fast as possible between stopping points. Not a good day. We personally found a two hour stop at the Wangi Falls was too long, particularly as we did not want to swim. Even the swimmers found it too long.

Fantastic day trip, if you do anything in Darwin do this trip. It allows you to see a lot and experience outside of Darwin. The guide we had was very informative and the day was well balanced, something for everyone, even a swim in the most incredible water whole...
