The tour guide was very good, but the group way too large. We spent 1 1/2 hours picking people up from hotels before the tour started (making it more than half a day). The trip did not go to some of the highlights I would have expected of a half day tour in Dubai, but the places we visited were good nonetheless. Probably would have rather gone to see new places of interest (eg, Atlantis) than a museum.
Was a great way to see Dubai. Our guide was very good and provided a comprehensive commentary of local areas.A must do tour especially for those on a short stay .
The tour was worthwhile and I would recommend it to Dubai travelers. It was one of the few tours of the city that included both the old and new areas. Our hotel pickup was delayed by 40 minutes. but we were notified in advance, so very little inconvenience. The tour guide was very informed and imparted her knowledge professionally. The stops at Burj al Arab, Mosque and Dubai Museum were the highlights. Especially the Dubai Museum where we had time to tour by ourselves. It should not be missed as it gives a good overview of life for the Emeratis before 'oil'. The tour was booked on-line with ease and all dealings with the company was very professional. Excellent way to see the city highlights, although a few "photo opportunity" stops would have been nice.
Good tour to see the tradition side of Dubai, should not be left in the souk market to be hasselled by sellers.
The only way this tour is worth it is if you do it on your first day in Dubai as it serves as a nice introduction to the city and the price is reasonably cheap. However, it is somewhat disorganized; we spent over an hour driving around and waiting for the tour to start after pick up. The "photo stop" at the Burj al Arab is a shame. We did not go into the Jumeirah Mosque. The Abra ride was extremely short. Again, do not take this tour if you have already spent a couple of days in the city and know your way around.
Great way to get a feel for Dubai and visit the top rated sights with a fantastic guide. We had limited time and this trip was perfect for us.
Worth doing good for the money, though the gold and spices markets were a bit scary as we were harrassed by people wanting to sell us real copies of watches e.g. fakes. The tour guide was very good and helpful!
Tour was rather rushed; mostly german speaking so English was brief s didn't learn as much as I had hoped. Driver on the return didn't know how to get back to the hotel so was late returning after going aroundin circles.
My clients were very unhappy with the tour in Dubai. They said the tour director spoke very poor English and that the majority of the passengers were from Germany and my clients were the only Americans so they got very little out of it. They will never use Viator again.
