The experience was OK for a chintzy tourist trip to the desert, but not great. The barbecue food itself was the highlight - very tasty and plenty of it. The staff at the "desert camp" and our driver seemed mostly uninterested and unengaged with the folks on the tour.
I've been on many safaris like this but that was the best, we had a blast and it was the highlight of our stay in Dubai. Also our tour guide (driver) was great, really enjoyed it, all four of us.

Excellent. Highly professional operation full of fun, action and laughter. Excellent food and entertainment. This tour is a must for everyone of all ages visiting Dubai.
Was definetely a highlight of our Dubai trip and we had a lot of fun. Everything well organized. Instead of Camel farm we would have preferred an extended ride. Sandboarding was more for children. Soft drinks were free of charge for Viator customers, but this was unkown to us at the beginning. The market is very competitive - so cheaper offers than Viator are available locally.

It was excellent. I think it was the best tour I have ever been. I recomend to each person who goes to Dubai to take this tour.

Excellant action packed and funfilled day..we didn't stop from the time we were collected from our hotel to the moment we were delivered back. A real must if visiting Dubai
Everything from our great guide /driver James who made the dune bashing a fantastic treat to the camels, the sunset , the food ,the falcon the tatooing it was all abfab !!

I enjoyed the trip but there are two things I wish I knew before going on it. The first was that the 4x4 ride through the sand dunes is actually really intense (in a fun kind of stunt car way) so if you get car sick (which I do) taking gravol before is a must or you won't enjoy it. The other thing which was actually disappointing was the camel ride. You're not really riding a camel through the desert like you would a horse tour. You get on it and walk in a circle and then the next group of tourists gets on. I wish it was more of an actual camel riding experience. Other than that, the tour guide was great and the tour itself is really well run.

I can only recommend this trip. The driver was very friendly and informative, the various activities were well-timed and all in all we had an experience we will never forget! A must if you go to Dubai.
Everything great. On time and all good. Even provided a vegitarian option. I would like to pass this message for the operator - please include another activity at the camp which is the costume dress up like an Arab. Also as I had booked the safari on the same day as arrival in Dubai, I had to call the operator from abroad to confirm everything along with the time of pickup which was a hassel. So if possible when you send the information about the operator please ask them to send all the information regarding pickup and other details and there should be no need for calling the safari operator unless needed.
