Souks , or Arabic-style markets, are a mainstay of the world-famous Dubai shopping scene, and for some travelers, a welcome relief from the sterile mega-malls that have popped up in recent years. Each of these traditional markets tends to ...

We were very fortunate that there was a hop on point very close to our hotel which made catching our tour a real breeze, unfortunately we didn't have enough time to enjoy both day routes on offer so purchased a night tour at a really good rate to do the blue route of the new Dubai at night, which was amazing. The red route which we did during the day was awesome and we enjoyed the stops that we chose to hop on and off especially the souks. It was fantastic that water was available on the bus as with 40+ degrees was a must and so convenient t just grab out of the fridge when hopping on or off. The night tour live commentary was awesome, unfortunately we can't remember the ladies name to thank in person. We saw and heard so much more about Dubai than we ever would have without this tour, thoroughly enjoyed!

Great way to see all parts of Dubai at your own pace! Friendly staff and it shows you everything from The Burj Al Arab, Mall of the Emirates, Gold and Spice Souks, Medinat Jumeirah, Dubai Museum, little India and the Burj Dubai! Just fantastic!

The tour would have been very good if we would get correct information for our booking. There were two issues:
1) We started on Friday when all souks and old areas are closed until 4 pm. Because we were not advised of that, we already made other bookings for the following day and could spend a very little time next day on Hop-on Hopp-off. So we missed some of those sightseeing areas.
2) The Treasury Walk tour was specified for 11:30am but when we arrived at the Museum we were told that the tour left at 10:30am because the bus company changed the time. Even our hotel did not know about it.

Great trip but a lot to do in one day. However just remember on Fridays the gold and spice souks do not open until 4.30 so other days are better

This was quite disappointing. Despite the shuttle from the port to the actual route being full, it was chaos as no-one explained whether the bus was going on the red or blue routes until the other bus had left. Distances between points of interest are long and the traffic is horrendous so it takes twice as long as it is supposed to do. A feature of this tour is that at almost every stop the bus sat for 5 or 10 mins for no apparent reason and then the ticket inspector got on to check tickets with further delay.
The included Dhow cruise was the highlight and the creek/souks area was interesting but the rest was a description of shopping malls and hotels from traffic jammed highways.
