Doing what: Connemara and Galway City Day Trip from Dublin
We had a good guide and a really good time driving through what is a magical landscape. All in all I highly recommend doing this tour - and bring a good camera along.

Doing what: Aran Islands Scenic Flight and Galway Tour from Dublin
Well run. We easily met our tour guide at the station and then escorted from the train station in Dublin to Galway. We were given explicit directions as to where to go and when to return to specific meeting places in order to meet our next escort for the next leg of the trip. They was some minimal waiting time between each leg. The plane ride was great, as was our time on Aran Island. The bus driver was very informative. Easily made the return trip. The second escort was even more personable. Well paced.

Doing what: Connemara Day Trip from Galway: Kylemore Abbey and Ross Errilly Friary
In general we were very happy with the tour and the organisation in general.
Unfortunately there were a few things which were a bit messy: We were picked up on time from our B and B and then made a tour of the whole city to pick up yet more people. Once we made the whole turn in almost half an hour (we could have walked there in 5 minutes if we would have known) we all had to leave the bus to go into another. Which was extremely crowded... We were a group of 4 and there were only single seats left. Arrangements with other passengers made it possible that at least 2 and 2 could sit together (we had a child with us).
Once close to the Ross Errilly Friary we were informed that this part of the trip had to be cancelled as they were making a film at the location and we couldn't even stop for photos. And that was it. Very disappointing.
The busdriver who also did all the talking was quite nice and new a lot of things, but he kept repeating himself quite a lot. What was really annoying was the part when he wanted to sell the tickets for Kylemore Abbey. Like a never ending advertisement. Also, Viator should say in the description that tickets could be purchased at a special price from the driver. We did some research before we discovered that queuing at the ticket desk would waste a lot of time. So we wanted to be smart and purchased our tickets online. This was a big mistake, as the girl at the ticket desk had to exchange our online tickets to "normal" tickets. Ridiculous, and it took forever.
Again, why didn't Viator inform us before that the tickets could be purchased at a cheaper price from the driver directly and we would have avoided the queue???
Talking so much about the quiet man it would have been nice to stop at the famous bridge (we passed directly in front of it). But as some people had to get their bus or train or whatever we had to speed up everything and didn't stop at all.
But all in all, it was a great day and I had previously very good experiences with Viator

Doing what: 3-Day Cliffs of Moher, Connemara and Aran Islands Rail Tour from Dublin
We had a great trip for three day tour and wish that we had time for the four day tour. The whole thing was Wow! We were given friendly knowledgable tour guides who were ever courteous and brilliant at thier jobs and professions,We were escorted by rail and bus and saw magnificent castles which had been restored to thier original pristine grandeur and estates and of course the amazing Cliffs of Moher which was truly magnificent. On the third day we were taken by plane to the largest of the Aran Islands where we saw the magnificent ancient settlements from the Bronze Age.We love the whole tour and were sad when it came to an end. Please do experience this beautiful tour!

Doing what: Aran Islands Scenic Flight and Galway Tour from Dublin
overall very good, very prompt, very polite and friendly. only point of concern was lack of consistant tour guide. many places we stopped at, we were either on our own or another guide took over. no-one said anything about the difficulty of the hike to the old stone fortress on inishmor.

At first I was a little concerned that this was going to be too long for a day trip, but it was sooooo great!!! Best views ever - absolutely breathtaking!

Doing what: Connemara and Galway City Day Trip from Dublin
So great - loved the sheep dog show - best part of the trip! In addition to watching the skills of the dog, we were able to try our hand at cutting sod. I felt like I was a real Irish-woman! Wonderful wonderful trip and our guide Kevin was fantastic!! Thanks!!!

Doing what: Connemara and Galway City Day Trip from Dublin
The van/bus was unheated and we were extremely cold the entire time, despite having on winter clothes and having a blanket. Everyone left their hats and gloves on for the ride. It was extremely unpleasant. We are skiiers and are from PA, so we are accustomed to winter weather. but to not have heat for that long a trip was outrageous. The trip to Killary Sheep Farm was great and it was actually warmer out cutting turf than on the bus. This was the low point of our trip which was otherwise wonderful and we love Ireland and the people.

Although it is a long day with a train/van/plane there and back, it's well worth it - the flight over to Inis Mor is breathtaking and so much fun! Inis Mor is a fascinating place.

What gorgeous countryside! The highlight of this trip was the stop at the sheep farm and digging turf in the bog. If you have an extra day in Ireland, this is a great tour to take.

Doing what: Connemara and Galway City Day Trip from Dublin
We left Dubln in the early hours by bus. It was a great trip seeing the countryside, and the quiet towns and villages. Damien was a great tour guide. He had many interesting facts and stories to share about the areas. The Pub we stopped at for lunch was excellent. Best Fish and Chips we ever had. The cruise was very nice, the the Abbey stop was so peaceful. The only suggestion I have is to eat before getting to the boat. Their meal selection was very limited. The food they offered was good though.I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see the real Ireland and breath in the culture of the land. Try to get Damian as your tour guide, you will learn a lot about Ireland's history, present and future plans. He has great stories to keep you entertained.

Doing what: 4-Day Ring of Kerry, Limerick, Cliffs of Moher, Galway and Connemara Rail Tour
Great trip for someone traveling solo and not wanting to do all the driving myself. Well organized. Good traveling and hotel accomodations. You can choose to take these as single day-trips from Dublin or combine them in a multi-day trip which I would recommend as it gives you a chance to spend more time in the smaller towns outside the crowds of Dublin.
