Doing what: Cork and Blarney Castle Rail Trip from Dublin

Althought it rained most of the day, we had a great time. Our "tour professionals" kept everything positive. We took some great pictures and explored the grounds of the Blarney Castle. Even kissed the Blarney Stone (don't tell my wife!).

The tour was breath taking. The tour guides were excellent (curteous and knowledgeable). Nothing was rushed and there was plenty of time to enjoy the stops. A special note: Our hotel wouldn't hold our luggage while we took the tour so the tour guides WILLING helped us with our luggage along the way. Thank you tour guides! Jim and Sylvia Tarro

Was the best, the views were fanstic. Sit on the right side of the bus if you can. Stay at the hotel , the B and B can be a walk into town, ours was 20 min walk and several were father.

Doing what: Ring of Kerry Rail Trip from Dublin

This tour was superior to what I could have done by driving myself. From the first contact at the Dublin railroad station to the actual bus tour, the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The bus driver provided information about the history and geology of the tour sites, and a touch of humor, and played Irish music at other times. This was money well spent, and upon my next trip to Ireland, I intend to be a return customer on another tour with this company.

Excellent!!! The tour guide was awesome, the food, the landscape, irish people were very friendly, the buses where always clean, the B and B the chose very very nice!!! Would totally recommend it!!!!!

We had a great time on this trip and everything we saw was what we expected. It was very well organised and the guides were fantastic.

A good trip with two great over night stays.

Doing what: Ring of Kerry Rail Trip from Dublin

I knew going in that there would be scenic views that we would pass right by, and we did. I knew from our other day trip that taking the driver's recommendation for lunch would mean a long line. We went to the Bay View Bar instead, and were literally the only ones in there. It was perfect. Overall, this was a good trip.

Doing what: Cork and Blarney Castle Rail Trip from Dublin

"Touristy" but worth it.
All connections on time. Arrived at castle before crowds. Our guide Neil urged us to go to the castle right away. We did and our wait was only 45 minutes. Avoiding a long line.
No time to explore the gardens. Had lunch, then had only 20 minutes to check shops, before boarding for Cobh.
Wi Fi on the train is amazing. Wish this was so in US (maybe soon.)

It was a great day and we lucked out having beautiful weather! The bus driver didn't give us much information. the lunch stop was not great. Not enough restaurants open and the ones that were open had poor service. We almost didn't have enough time to order and eat. Stopping to see the sheep dogs was awesome! The scenery was incredible. The train was very nice!

Doing what: Cork and Blarney Castle Rail Trip from Dublin

Good tour, the guide (Peter) was friendly and informative. I thought, if an hour less at Bunratty Castle (3 hours) and an hour in Cork City, it would've been better.
But overall, a good tour.

Doing what: Cork and Blarney Castle Rail Trip from Dublin

A great place and must see. Long drive and train from Dublin but it is worth it. Make suare and kiss the stone and there is a lot of ground to explore. Agaian time is limited so you are better off maybe spending the night. The Blrney gift shop is a great place to get everything you want. The food at the restaurants are not at all savoury.

I felt this was a good trip. Wish we could have stopped in a couple places a bit longer. This is a great thing to do if you want to see all the big attractions. I did feel altough it was tourist central... "and make sure you stop at the gift shop before you leave" kind of thing. But the tour itself was nice. Nice people, helpful staff, good accomodation, transportation. I just dont like being on a schedule so much.

1. I liked the tour.Lots of fun and very interestin.
2. I greatly disliked the bed and breakfest "beaty's Home".
The room was very uninviting and unpleasant. Same goes for the bathroom.
For the price we paid for the tour , we expected more for the sleeping accomodation.
3. I also was not too happy that on the second day of the tour the bus driver was also our tour guide.Long ours of driving and guiding at the same time,is not such a great idea.
Other tours I took in the past had two people doing the job; a driver and a duide.

You can't go to Ireland without kissing the Blarney stone. The gardens around the castle and the visit to Cobh made the trip even better.
