Nobody wants to miss an opportunity to party and Dublin’s epic NYE Dublin festival provides a myriad of options for making New Year’s Eve a night to remember. From street markets and movie screenings to a public fireworks display and an enormous music concert, here’s the lowdown on bringing in 2013, Dublin-style.

1) Street Festival

Festivities kick off early on December 31st, with a mass of events hitting Dublin city center. Wolfe Tone Square, Temple Bar and Barnardo Square will all be hosting seasonal markets filled with arts, crafts and foods and there will be an array of children’s entertainment to keep the pre-teens occupied. Alternatively, readings and movie screenings will take place at Trinity College, the James Joyce Centre and the Grand Social.
