Every Saturday, there is a handicraft market in the Plaza Foch from 10h30 to 21h00. Here you can find a variety of urban, traditional, alternative or ecological works made in Ecuador. What makes this market attractive is that the craftsman themselves sell their products, that is why the prices are reasonable compared to the typical souvenir shops where you find the same products at 2 to 4 times higher prices. Those items found here are so unique that I can say that it is a ideal place to get something really attractive for your family and friends waiting for you back in your country. There are really cool stuff, highly recommended =) Here you can find some more information, see the albums they have: http://www.facebook.com/artencumbaya http://www.facebook.com/pages/ASARA/121850091159818 http://www.facebook.com/fuireciclado

Hi Travis, Thanks for the review and the information about the market at the Plaza Foch. Does this market have a specific name? I hear that the Plaza Foch also has great nightlife and is a good place to grab a drink or dance the night away! Continue Reading »
