Holiday Weekend at the beach in Canoa, Ecuador

Over the holiday weekend, some friends and I decided to get out of Quito to do some exploring and traveled to Canoa, a beautiful beach town south of Pedernales and north of Manta. Canoa is great for those looking to soak up the sun and enjoy a relaxing weekend with the option of water sports (surfing, kayaking, etc.). There are several hotels on the beach and the restaurants in town will leave you full and happy. The area around Canoa offers scenic look out points and lush countryside.
