My daughter and I took this tour, especially to tour the Dunvegan Castle on the Isle Of Skye, as part of the MacLeod clan. Our guide, Neal C., was everything you could ask for in a guide and exceeded our expectations. He is pationate about the Scottish history (and everything sounds better with a Scottish brogue), and so knowledgable. A true story teller! He took us to the most amazing place, Fairy Glen and even had a surprise for us! The B and B accomodations were wonderful and the Isle of Skye and the Highlands were gorgeous! I definately recommend this trip~
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Highlands and the Isle of Skye from Sunday 25th September 2011! Our tour guide Audrey was very energetic, knowledgable, kind, personable and informative of the many historical facts, stories, myths and sites that we visited on route each day. We shared our experience with a lovely group of people in a very comfortable mini bus and recommend this tour to everyone interested in exploring Scotland without the crowds.
We really appreciated our trip to Isle of Skye, not only for its fantastic views but also for the attention given by our driver/guide Niel, who is an outstanding guy. Thanks indeed
Audrey, our guide, was amazing and brought to life the history of Scotland in an amusing and contemporary way. The 3-day trip to the Isle of Skye was full of beautiful scenery and thanks to Audrey we never missed an opportunity to take photos. Anyone planning a trip to Scotland will really miss out if they don't go on the tour. It was first class!
This tour was outstanding. The scenery is simply breathtaking. By far, this was our favourite tour. 3 days was just enough time to experience the beauty of the the "Isle of Skye".
Our hotel accommodations were also absolutely fabulous, right on the harbour at Portree with a view of the fishing boats right outside our window. Our tour guide, "Eddy", was also truly outstanding. His descriptions and stories during the tour, and on the many nature walks made all of us appreciate his pride in his Scottish heritage. Isle of Skye is a truly a beautiful place with breathtaking scenery. I will be recommending this tour to all of my friends and family.

My wife and I enjoyed this tour very much. The Isle of Skye is beutiful, the Eilean Dolan Castle is very interesting, and the little towns along the way are charming. The tour was very well organized and our guide, Erik, was fantastic.
Excellent trip, well presented especially by the driver/guide by the name of Allen. Very knowledgable of Scottish and English history with added humor making his talks very entertaining. The Isle of Skye had a lot of interesting things to see.
This trip really lived up to the reviews. Rabbie's is an excellent tour guide service and is well worth the money. Also, the place they booked for me in Portree for 2 nights was absolutely perfect, the Coolin View b and b. Neal, our driver/tour guide, was brilliant as well. Trust Rabbie's for a great trip. My only complaint would be that some stops there wasn't engough time. I would have liked an option for some extended time to hike around the Isle of Skye. But I'm a real outdoorsy type. Either way, great trip.
Our trip from Edinburgh to Isle of Skye with Rabbies was absolutely amazing. Everything was well.orgainsed and completely stress-free for us. The bus trip through the Highlands took the scenic route (I'm not sure if there is a not scenic route in the Highlands) and we took frequent photo stops in amazing locations. On Skye we had a place in a great little B and B (Seaforth Cottage) and a full day bus tour on the island seeing the unbelievable landscapes. Our tour guide (Neal) was a chatty guy with a good knowledge of the history of the places we passed and made sitting in the bus for longer stretches very entertaining with local tales and anecdotes. All in all, the trip was everything we had hoped for.
We loved our trip to the Isle of Skye which was greatly enhanced by the knowledge, skill and friendliness of Neil, our guide. Nothing was a problem to him and he was always happy to do whatever it took to meet our needs to our satisfaction. We would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone considering taking it.
My daughter and I had a fantastic time. Our guide James was an amazing story teller and a wonderful, nice guy. He did a great job of pointing out the sights and stopping so we could take pictures. Our B&B in Portree was great. The other people on our tour were so much fun. The Isle of Skye is so beautiful and I was stunned by the beauty of the highlands. I would love to go back and do this same tour again. Also, the value for the price was great. Thanks for an absolutely wonderful time! I highly recommend this tour.
We had the worst weather for our 3 day trip through the Isle of Skye, but the BEST tour guide in Sarah, full of interesting information and passionate Scottish tales. I would highly recommend this tour (especially if you were lucky enough to have our Sarah) the accommodation in a B&B was lovely, warm and friendly.
I would highly recommend the three day tour of the Isle of Skye. My guides Allister and Doug were very knowledgeable of the area and the sites we visited. My accommodations on the Isle of Skye were at a quaint B and B right on the sea. The view from my room was spectacular! The small size tour group was much nicer than the larger sized tours that I've taken in the past. It's like having your own guided tour. I'll cherish the memories of my trip for a long time.
The 3-Day Isle of Skye tour was great! It was the only tour I could find that fit my timeline of hitting as many sites in Scotland as possible in 3-4 days. For the price, what the tour offered as far as a small group size, sites of Scotland, and quality accomodations (I did the Bed and Breakfast package) was fantastic. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore as much of Scotland as possible in a limited timeframe. Additionally, our tour driver provided a lot of interesting information along the way and made every effort to accomodate the 'must sees' of each individual traveler.
This trip was absolutely amazing. Richard, our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and pleasure to be around. His recommendations for restaurants were great and varied enough in price that everyone was able to find something in their budget. Sea Breezes on the Isle was especially good. Our B&B was very pleasant and comfortable. The operator seems to really know their stuff and the small group was terrific, much better than big coach trips. The Isle of Skye was breathtaking. Again we were extremely lucky with weather as it was clear the entire time and even sunny two of the days. Edinburgh is a great city and the pick up point for this tour was very central and easy to find. When we returned we easily hopped on the airport bus as it is right where the tour ends. I would absolutely go back to Scotland.
