We found this tour to be an excellent introduction to the Scottish Highlands. Jonathan, our driver, was very knowledgeable and entertaining and was a key element in the enjoyment of the day.

Excellent. The tour is a must. Having never been to Edinburgh before it gave me an overall perspective of the layout of the city, so that I could decide which sights I wanted to see more of.

We only had a few days in Scotland, and we were very glad we booked this tour. It was a good opportunity to get out of the city and see the Highlands and hear more of the history of Scotland and its major landmarks and events. Our tour was in a small, 16 person bus with a very knowledgeable and personable guide, Jonathan. We stopped at two ruin castles, Doune and Kilchurn, but the real treat was being able to tour Inverary Castle, home of the Duke of Argyll. Now that's a castle. Next a ride by Stirling Castle with a history lesson by Jonathan. There were lots of photo ops and a nice break at Inverary with the option to walk a short distance into the town for lunch or visit the Castle cafe. The tour involves alot of riding, but the views and countryside are beautiful and the time went fast. It was a full day, well worth the time and cost. Highly recommended if you want to see more of Scotland in a short timeframe.

Not a problem redeeming my voucher. Unfortunately we didn't have the best weather to fully appreciate the tour. Will definitely use Viator again.

This was another excellent tour. Our driver/tour director (Paul) was good and provided some insights into Scottish history. The buses provide the benefits of small group activity, although more leg room would be appreciated.

Hop-on Hop-off is an excellent way to get a feel for a city. The Viator tour did just that. We were able to get around easily and see what we wanted. By starting with that tour we more readily understood what Edinburgh is all about.

This trip was the highlight of my two weeks abroad. Our tour guide, Shelby, was fantastic!! She taught us about the Scottish culture, told excellent stories, and even coordinated music to correspond with the sights we were viewing. I was thoroughly entertained and enlightened the entire 10 hours of the tour. This is a great tour with plenty of castles and beautiful scenery.

The best of the 3 days trips I took, there are several photo opportunities and our guide Keith was great - you visit 4 castles: Doune (briefly, just for pictures), Kilchurn (nice walk and time to explore), Inveraray (you can explore and have lunch in the wonderful little town) and Stirling (just a quick stop for pictures). There a couple more stops in the way, I really enjoyed it!

My daughter and l loved this day trip made especially interesting by our guide Jonathan who bought the tales of the past to life with his renditions ( sound effects included ) he had very good historical knowledge. We loved visiting all the castles, had brilliant weather, lots of stops at beautiful lochs as well, it was a great trip and good value.

The tour was excellent and the drivers very pleasant. The only concern was the price as we needed a different bus to take us to the coast, which we had not realised.
