OMG was this trip worth it's weight in gold. Pete, our driver, was fun and knowledgeable. The tour itself couldn't have been better - even though it was a cold rainy day - we all seemed to have a great time.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was so willing to answer any questions we had. The tour was fabulous. My boyfriend's family was from Inverary and it was hard to find a tour from Edinburgh that stopped here. It was a great experience for us.
We enjoyed the trip a lot, despite the bad weather. Our guide was very informative and helpful. The stops were well spaced. The trip could almost be made into a 3 day trip, perhaps including a tour of Inverness Castle and maybe more of the town itself.
Stifling castle was a disappointment but the views were pretty. Loch Lomond made up for it, amazing. The guides were ok, Duncan was in training and he talked a little too much, Peter was good.
Perfect day, perfect tour. Length was just to that point where you've "had enough for today"...our driver/guide Shames was great. Very funny, very knowledgeable and kept us all very interested. Even went out of his was during lunch break to find a place for my wife and I to go horseback riding the following day. The stop in Inverayray for lunch was probably a bit longer than it needed to be as it is a tiny little town with not very many options of places to eat. But all in all a fantastic tour and highly RECCOMEND
we were on a quick visit to Glasgow for a competition (on Saturday) and wanted a one day tour for the Friday. We had an excellent young lady driver/guide who was very knowledgeable about the area and who passed that knowledge on very well. She was unphased when some of our group were late arriving and very hekful at the end of the day.
I would reccomend the tour and the firm (Rabbies) to anoyone who wants a tour with a personal touch
the sun was shining as was our guide Jonathon who informed ,engaged and entertained us with story telling, information and music. it was truly a stirling day and a treasure to remember. the scenery was beautiful and it was worth every penny.
Well it was rainy day,but the tour guide made it very interesting and it was because of her extensive knowledge and humorous ways of explaining things,we really enjoyed, yogesh
This is a wonderful tour. Our guide and driver Michael was well informed, entertaining and patient with everyone. We had a great time!
I have to thank Rabbie's Trail Burners for this wonderful trip, and John, our guide, for the wonderful experience of the Highlands. He regaled us with stories from history and legends, and hypnotised us with the haunting gaelic music and bagpipes of Scotland. I strongly recommend this trip to everyone who is interested in nature, geography and history of scotland, because this one day trip packs a punch!
The day trip was a great departure from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh. Our tour guide Ewan was excellent and had a wealth of knowledge about the history of the country. Loch Lomond was great and we had enough time to take a hike up up the hillside for views overlooking the Loch.
We were on tours out of London, Edinburgh and Dublin. This was our favorite. Sarah (our driver) was a great host and Scotland provides a great experience.
