Doing what: 2-Day Loch Ness and Inverness Small Group Tour from Edinburgh
A great scenic journey, covering multiple 'photostops' along the way, gave an amazing feel of the famed Scottish Highlands. Our tour guide, Bob, did a great job too - engaging us throughout the journey with stories of Scottish history and local highlights, and providing us with a memorably experience despite it being a wet day, having to take a detour along the route!

Doing what: Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands Small Group Day Trip from Edinburgh
The weather is a bit overcast but that should be OK. we head off towards the Scottish Highlands towards Glencoe once again we have a very informative guide and the stories he tells about some of the Clan battles makes you feel like you are there. With a couple of stops along the way we arrive in Fort Augustus for lunch we chose the local Chippy and let me tell you the fish and chips where the best I have had in a long time. We did the 1 hour cruise on the Loch this is not included but well worth it as we had to look for "Nessie" . Well all back on the bus for the trip back to Edinburgh with lots of interesting little stops along the way. Highly Recommend this trip.

Doing what: 5-Day Highland Explorer and Isle of Skye Small Group Tour from Edinburgh
The tour was everything we hoped for - and more. From the organization of the local contact to the fantastic tour guide to the size and make-up of the group - this was a tour that we'd highly recommend. And, it goes without saying that the sites throughout the Highlands and Isle of Skye are breathtaking at every turn.

Highlands were beautiful and driver/guide was fantastic. Had no idea it would be a 5 hr drive each way and only 1.5 hrs at location. But it was worth it.

Doing what: Full-Day Trip to Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands
Chris was an amazing tour guide and a great story teller. He kept us entertained the entire trip. Letting someone else do the driving was a great way to see the Scottish Highlands.

Doing what: Full-Day Trip to Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands
Myself and my wife enjoyed the Highlands and the trip on Loch Ness. The driver was very informative throughout the trip. however he was an erratic driver with little or no patience with other motorists, and seemed to be in a hurry to get to the next stop culminating in dropping us in the street below where we started (the Royal Mile) saying it would be too busy! when we walked up to the Royal mile it was traffic free!!.

Loved the sights and travelling through the highlands was a highlight. The guide was fantastic. His knowledge of the area and history as well as his story-telling was brilliant. Would probably give the loch ness boat a BIG miss though and spend time walking around the village instead. Listening to a pre-recorded speil on the boat wasn't very intersting or worth the £12. Long day, but well worth it. Great way to see Scotland if you have limited time.

Doing what: Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands Small Group Day Trip from Edinburgh
Great tour of the Highlands. Tour guide Sheila funny, considerate, and extremely knowledgeable and proud of her country. Loch Ness and all the scenery was gorgeous. Recommend you bring snacks and/or picnic lunch if you plan to do the boat ride on Loch Ness. It's a long drive with many scenic stops so buying lunch at the deli near the Loch impedes eating time. Other than that, would do the trip again in a heart beat.

The tour was a lot of fun. Our guide provided a great mix of information on the geology of the country and of the history of the highlands. I liked the small size of the van (16), which mad it easy to on and off at the various stops.

Had an excellent day travelling through the Highlands. Andy C. was a great driver and told a lot of interesting stories. Views were superb. Would definitely recommend travelling with this tour operator ( located on 60 High street - royal mile ).

Doing what: 5-Day Highland Explorer and Isle of Skye Small Group Tour from Edinburgh
James was an outstanding driver/guide. He gave a great background on Scot history/folklore and elimated many tourist traps. Be prepared for 9am-6/7pm days. We saw a lot of the Highlands and Isle of Skye despite rainy/overcast weather. Hotel in Inverness was 1 1/2-2mi. out of city center but nice and food good. Hotel on Skye right on water front/habour w/fantastic view. Ate a lot of great fish meals.

Doing what: West Highland Lochs and Castles Small Group Day Trip from Edinburgh
I traveled the West Highlands with Rabbies Tours and it was absolutely wonderful. Our tour guide, Neil Glasgow from Edinburgh, was such fun. We saw some beautiful sights of Scotland and had plenty of time off the bus as well. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see a bit of the extreme beauty of Scotland. It is a great way to get a sense of Scotland outside the walls of the city and you learn a lot of history along the way.

An excellent, albeit long, tour. A gorgeous day in the highlands including a lovely ride on Loch Ness. My tour company used a Mercedes 16 seater which was much better than the bigger tour buses. Excellent tour guide as well.
