Really enjoyed the trip to Loch Ness. The scenery was beautiful, even experienced snow in the highlands ! Our guide Eddy was excellent, very informative with a twist of humor. We would recommend this trip to all.

Doing what: Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands Small Group Day Trip from Edinburgh
The day was amazing! We would recommend it to anyone.
Eddie was so knowledgeable about the area and told us many interesting things that made the Highlands come to life. We could almost see Rob Roy and William the Bruce running up and down the mountains as he talked!

Doing what: 2-Day Loch Ness and Inverness Small Group Tour from Edinburgh
A short trip that gives you a great snapshot of what the Scottish highlands has to offer. Our guide guide, Michael, was informative and knowledgeable. Scottish highlands is a must even if you are in Scotland for a only a short period of time. I was only there for 4 days, and this tour allowed me to squeeze that into my itenary due to their well planned out tour. Enjoyed thoroughly! Thanks!

Doing what: Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands Small Group Day Trip from Edinburgh
LOVED this trip, highly recommend. Awesome views of the highlands and our driver Shelby was amazing and stopped lots of times for us to take pictures. I loved all the places we stopped and she always had suggestions of things to try. Got tons of beautiful pics of the highlands and history/facts as well. The Loch Ness was neat to see as well and a river cruise was optional, but I didn't do that.

Doing what: Stirling Castle and Loch Lomond Small Group Day Trip from Edinburgh
A great bus tour out from Edinburgh to Stirling Castle and Loch Lomond. It was especially nice not to have to worry about driving and to leave that our our excellent guide, Shelby. Enjoyed seeing the scenery and even getting into the Highlands.

Doing what: West Highland Lochs and Castles Small Group Day Trip from Edinburgh
Tour guide knowledgeable and friendly. You only get to visit the outsides of Doune and Stirling Castles. It would be good to tour both, but I understand the time contraints. Plenty of time to explore Inveraray and Kilchurn Castles. Would recommend this Day Trip to those who like Castles! It also includes Loch Lomond and plenty of the Highlands.

Doing what: Highland Lochs, Glens and Whisky Small-Group Day Trip from Edinburgh
This was a wonderful taste of the Highlands and our guide was terrific - Ian, I believe. His narrative and descriptions were entrancing and he was very responsive to our group's questions and interests. We would highly recommend this tour - the scenery was unbeatable and we liked the inclusion of the little nature walks on some of our stops.

Doing what: Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands Small Group Day Trip from Edinburgh
Great day trip! So much seen in the 12 hour time slot of this trip. Great tour guide who had so much knowledge of the places we visited and also drove through, really made the day interesting. Lot's of stop off's for photos to be taken, actually stopping at Glencoe was beautiful and Loch Ness was great.
It is a long day, and a little tiring as pick up is 7.45am and drop off is about 8pm but so worth it as you couldn't possibly see all of these great sights in one day otherwise.
I thought the price was brilliant value and would thoroughly recommend this day trip to anyone interested in seeing the Scottish Highlands.
The guide also stopped regularly for toilet breaks and hot drinks which was nice. He also recommended places to eat etc, this was very helpful.
All in all, a great trip, would love to do the longer ones in the future.

Wonderful day exploring the highlands! We stopped in little towns and lochs along the way. Our guide, Sara, was a great storyteller.

I would strongly recommand this tour.
We started in Edinburgh in a group of 12 persons and the guide/driver.
In the small bus there were sufficient seats available. The guide told us interesting facts about Scotland and he had plenty ideas of what to see.
There were regular stops.
The landscape was beautiful. In Fort Augustus we had more than an hour leisure time. The lake of Loch Ness reminded me at the fjords in Norway. I was in Edinburgh for a city trip, but I am glad that I have been able to see the Highlands too.

Doing what: Full-Day Trip to Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands
The drive through the Highlands was very beautiful. Was a little disappointed with Loch Ness, wish we would have had more time to tour around the town and take the boat cruise.

I did not like the tour much. The Highlands were beautiful but the tour was really unpersonal. Even tough the guide was very nice and told many interesting stories he e.g. did not even ask for our names...
Then the stopps at the single places were so short that all you could do was grab a bite to eat before we had to leave again. There was no way enough time to even look around a little. I think they should plan in longer stopps plus give you better information (written) about the stopps with a map maybe and what is there to see...
I cannot recommend this tour and would therefore also not book another tour with viator.

Doing what: Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands Small Group Day Trip from Edinburgh
A geat way to see a lot of the highlands in one day. The driver, Shelby, kept the tour interesting and entertaining, lots of commentary and laughs all day. The tour started and ended on timetyoo, the bus was very comfortable and the price was reasonable. Ask for Shelby as your driver, she made the whole day perfect.
Highly recommended..

Our guide Peter stopped at serval extral locations for pictures, history, and fun. Breathtaking drive through the Highlands. Didn't know there was a commandos memorial in the Highlands which is a must see. Go in August to see all the purple of the heather.
