Things To Do With Kids in Edinburgh
With everything from medieval castles to world-class museums at your disposal, Edinburgh is an easy place to keep even the most hyperactive kids amused. Many of the city’s tourist attractions are children friendly and discounted family tickets are often available, so look around for deals. Edinburgh Castle and Craigmillar castle are full of quirky lookouts and hideaways ripe for exploring, while the Edinburgh Dungeons will leave children gasping at the gruesome horrors of 17th-century Scotland. Even a trip on the open-top Sightseeing bus can be an entertaining way to get around – just try to avoid a rainy day.

One of the city’s most popular kids attractions is the Camera Obscura and World of Illusions, a fascinating exhibition of illusions and entertaining interactive displays.
