A great trip. Dan our guide from Rabbies was exceptionally knowledgeable. Stirling castle is worth the stop with great views of the surrounding areas, the castle is being worked on but 90% can be visited. We arrived at Loch Lomond to see the sun setting and were able to get great pictures. An enjoyable trip.
Rabbies is the tour operator. Small group and bus which made the tour more personal. Karen was out Driver/Guide and VERY knowledgeable on Scottish history, story telling a most enjoyable day and of course the scenery was breath taking. Stirling Castle was a lot more than I expected. Stopped at Aberfoyle for lunch and went for a walk around Loch Lomond. Would do this tour again.
Rabbies is the tour operator. small group and bus which makes it all the more personal. Heather was our driver/guide and very knowledgeable on Scottish history and great story teller. Visited Melrose Abby where Robert The Bruce's heart is. Climbed the steps to the top of the spire, great view. Visited one of the "Wallace" Statues/Monuments (not the main one in Stirling). Then onto Roslyn Chapel, absolutely beautiful. A most enjoyable day.
I took another tour while there this was the best. the views were spectacular. You see so much of the country and learn so much about the culture.Jonathan was a fantastic tour guide. He was flexible and knew all the best spots to shop. He picked the best and cleanest rest stops. He was so kind and made sure everyone had a great time!
Wonderful day. James was a fantastic tour guide. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in seeing the beautiful landscape of the Scottish Highlands.
Jayne was a great guide. Beautiful views. It was a long trip, but it flew by!
Jayne was a great guide! I enjoyed her stories and learned a lot on the trip! I enjoyed all of the stops.
Our Driver David was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and made the trip very interesting. We saw the Scottish Highlands at its best.. Very highly recommend this wonderful trip that is well worth it.
A very interesting trip. The guide has been very nice and well prepared. She knew everything about the places she showed us and their history. You fell she loves what she doing and telling. She is clear and it's easy to understand her even if you are not an english mother tongue. I am glad to have chosen this trip in december because the colours of the Castle and the Loch are amazing. It could be a bit chilly and windy, maybe raining, but this is Scotland and you have to love it
Guide was really good and made it an interesting day. Gail was willing to stop for photo opportunities which was great. Scenery was beautiful with snow in the highlands. Disappointingly Nessie was not in residence, although we didn't really expect we would see her.
I had an amazing time on this tour and the guide was excellent. He had endless information to share with us, and full of quirky facts. His happy disposition and positive energy made for a great trip. I would highly reccomend this tour for anyone who will be spending any amount of time in Edinburgh!
Great way to see the highlands in a day. Stops and the guide were excellent. He provided a wonderful historical overview for us.
The weather was perfect for this trip in mid November. Our guide Jonathan was hilarious and very informative. Beautiful landscapes and nice short stops along the way.
