Playing make believe at a location in King Cross station purported to be platform 9 3/4, but we know better now don't we?
A spectacular to scale version of Hogwarts
Standing in the actual Great Hall was pretty amazing. Our visit was in October, so the tables were decorated with a Halloween theme.
It was a great experience to see all of the actual sets and props throughout the tour. The huge scale model of Hogwarts Castle was definitely the icing on top of our wizarding cake! Beautiful!
It was amazing to see a huge scale model of Hogwarts Castle in the tour. We had to walk around this model and was able to see a full 360 view of the castle. So amazing! A bonus: There was actually a marriage proposal here in front of the castle on the day we came for the tour.
All of the magical creatures were shown in this part of the tour. Amazing how they were able to keep and display the creatures. Some were hanging displays and others in glass case displays. We were still able to walk up close and see the creatures in full detail.
The set for Umbridge's office was very purple...just like in the movies.
A section of the set for the Weasley house.
Even though the set for the potions classroom was gated off, we were still close enough to see all the details.
The set for Dumbledore's office was amazing. It felt like I actually stepped into the movie scene.
This was impressive. The door was huge!
