Doing what: Paris Rail Day Trip from London
This was amazing .. however, there was no lunch at the Eiffel Tower (which really wasn't a bad thing at all!) We had lunch at a local french bistro -- great food! The tour was just the right pace filled with a lot of things, but never rushed. I would recommend it highly -- if you only have a day to spend in this great city -- and wand to experience the Eurostar -- then this is the trip to take!

Very good guide and real nice small group. Hit all the high spots in Paris and fully enjoyed the whole day, both to and from Paris. My wife and I are now back in Canada but would use the tours again. The trip to Paris just wet our appetite.

Doing what: Budget Independent Rail Tour to Paris by Eurostar
This was my first visit to Paris. I found it really very interesting as I had to plan everything. I spent one whole day in Paris. I started by visiting La Tour Eiffel and bought a ticket on Batobus to visit the other very interesting sites through La Seine river. I visited Notre Dame, Le grand Palais, Champ Elysée, L' Arc de Triomphe and many other places. Paris is really very impressive with the many architectural buildings. Very nice day!

Take this tour! It is a "taste" of Paris at most! But be prepared for a quick in and out! Our guide "Sammy" was very cordial and inviting. His demeanor exuded his love for the city. I had the feel that a personal 2 day tour with him would have been amazing! The pace is even keeled, a little swift, however. You do get to see the key points of Paris. I traveled solo and am not a lingerer so the time spent at each location was perfect for me. Eiffel tower is a landmark. Beautiful, but you go up and look out. The 45 minutes we were there was all that was needed. My vacation time was centered in London. This day trip to Paris inspired me to return to soak in more Parisian fare on a future trip! Well worth the price!

Loved it- there was slight confusion when our representative didn't show up right away at train station. Trip over was great and our guide Sammy was great. He knew everyone. Saw much more than expected.

Tour guide excellent, Eiffel Tower visit and lunch, superb, the boat cruise, not so good, the boat full of school children which took up all the seats and there fore all the listening devices which were only 1 per three seats, and not all of those few worked, so we missed most of the blurb, and unable to take photos as there is a glass roof which is impossible to take photos. The cruise was so disappointing as we missed all the information about the buildings , bridges and monuments.

It was great to see our transfer driver holding a sign with our name on it as we arrived at Gare du Nord from Amsterdam. I had booked and paid for this service some weeks in advance of us leaving Australia, I appreciated the reminder email, the driver and transport were exceptional, it was with a sigh of relief to have everything go smoothly and we did not have to find our own way to our hotel after travelling for many hours, not to mention having to struggle with luggage on the metro. I will have no hesitation using and recommending this service. Thank you
